I like the apartment, it is truly a beautiful property in a great location. Right on the bike trail, walking distance to some good restaurants.
There has been a recent change in management and none of the changes have been positive. They closed the bike room without any stated reason, requiring me to wheel a bicycle through my home if I want to use it and have it take up half of my balcony when I don't. I requested that some form of bike storage be given to replace the amenity which was taken without reason (doesn't have to be a bike room, just a simple bike rack would suffice and they're only a small fraction of my monthly rent to buy online). They replied saying they couldn't give me extra storage for free but would gladly charge me extra for a storage room. This was blatant dishonesty on their part -- take away an amenity, and then offer to charge money for a lesser version of it. And the bike room is just an empty dark unused space now. Total waste.
As other reviews have mentioned, the garage does not close and there are security concerns. As well, it seems many people who live here will gladly murder you so that they can get out of here faster. I've nearly been killed by a car barreling through the garage or down the street at full speed at least once a month since living here. Might be because there are many college students who are living on their parents' dime with no concept of adult responsibility.
All in all it is a nice property in a good location, but there are faults and management could be better about it.
