Second review about this same apartment complex. 6 months later and nothing has changed. If there were a way to give negative stars, I would. As they said in Mean Girls, "the limit does not exist." Apathetic unconcerned management, now coupled with poorly designed HVAC units that constantly leak. Slow maintenance request fulfillment, and disgusting insect infestation issues.
A millipede literally fell on my shoulder from the overhead airvent.
I hope that whoever is reading this review can imagine how disgusting it feels to have a slimy, hairy millipede fall on you while you are most vulnerable (and quite literally, butt naked).
I cannot sleep well knowing that another airvent is directly above my bed. Disgusting. I woke up this morning with some winged insect crawling on my floor (even though I just vacuumed yesterday and twice today, and literally bought a can of Raid and Lysol in the interim while waiting for management to disinfect and sent pest control to my apartment).
They took so long to fix the HVAC leak issue that it spread to my carpet and I found a worm on that wet spot that I had reached out to them about a couple days ago. I don't know what other legal action I can take to get this place on its feet. The only reason people rent from here is because of the location. Otherwise, it has nothing else going for them. Because of their convenient location, Easton thinks they can survive doing the bare minimum for residents. A number of people I know who are familiar with these apartments (and who actually lived here and pre-terminated their lease) also cited incompetent management and failure to respond to maintenance issues--including but not limited to molds.
Often, when writing reviews or making recommendations, I try to give the most accurate and least biased review I can. I also try to be understanding and kind. However, these issues and the apathy of most of the management including my leasing agent is truly unacceptable.
Instead of investing time and money on marketing events like "Pet Appreciation Days", Easton should instead focus on creating livable and welcoming spaces for their residents--or potentially hiring more maintenance staff to be able to meet all urgent requests and safety hazards (truly my issue was a health hazard given the high probability of molds and the evident worm issue).
I am extremely dissatisfied and cannot emphasize enough how much I want to dissuade you, dear reader, from leasing here and falling into the trap of doing their property tour, where they show you one or two model apartments that seem to look nice, but fool you into signing an expensive lease at these so-called "Luxury" apartments (even though they only have 3 stars on Google Reviews and 2.2 stars on Apartment Ratings... not sure what universe 3/5 is considered "luxury"). Their calling themselves "Luxury" is not only a misnomer, but it's also extremely misleading for future tenants and the public. I don't think they should be doing that and I honestly suggest their removing it from their name. Moreover, the rent I pay here is waaaaaaay too high for the quality of this place. I've moved around a lot, across the US and different parts of the globe, and have experienced way better service, design, and infrastructure at cheaper/more affordable prices--even accounting for the variation in cost of living among those geographic locations.
Whether you are working at one of the financial institutions across the street, are an expat/consultant, are traveling for work, or are simply attracted by the beauty of Easton Town Center across the street, I strongly strongly strongly urge you not to move here. If you take anything from this review at all, it's this; "Do not live here, or else you will regret it."
If anyone from Easton Commons / Morgan Communities is reading this, I would be happy to work with you and give you feedback about what you can do better and how together, we could potentially dig you out of this hole of complaints and extreme customer dissatisfaction. Let me know and we can work things out.
