TERRIBLE. I wen't and toured a unit two weeks ago because I liked the location and the unit floor plans. I was wanting a three bedroom walkout and to be in the basement because I have two dogs and I thought it would be easier for me to let them in and out without waking any roommates up. I was told there was a unit with that bedroom open so I filled my application out that day and was told I would hear back from either her (Courtney) or her manager on Monday with more information about the rooms. Long story short, I waited a week. I called yesterday trying to figure out anything further, but they then couldn't even find my application! I was told around 1 PM the girl I was on the phone with would talk to Courtney and get back to me but I received no calls that night. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and just figured they got busy or something and I called them back the next day. SAME STORY! NO ONE knew anything about my application, where it was, or why I never got a call back. Then I was told again that the manager was going to be calling me withing the next hour or two so we could figure the situation out. No call. I called back at 6:30 (because they close at 7) trying to talk to the manager an maybe figure this out one last time and Mitch (?) was professional and polite especially considering my lack of patience at that point. Mitch informed me that he spoke with his manager and should have received a call back by now. THEN HE TELLS ME THAT NONE OF THE THREE BEDROOM WALKOUT UNITS HAVE THE PROPER BEDROOM AVAILABLE. Due to their lack of respect, organization, and timeliness I'm basically SOL as far as finding something nice, cheap, spacious, and tolerant of "aggressive" dog breeds.

Don't even bother with this place, even if it is the cheapest you have found so far (keep looking, there is better for less, I promise). Staff can be rude, there are fees for literally everything, and the gutters are the WORST which you don't think you'll be upset about until the rain water is flooding your entryway from the runoff. Only redeemable quality about this money pit is their nice bus drivers that drive like they're playing GTA 5 but get you places on time...

DO NOT LIVE HERE. YOU WILL REGRET IT INSTANTLY. Seriously the worst. When we arrived on move in day, the unit was filthy. They didn't even try to clean it. There was food in our microwave, hair all over the floors and bathroom, and there crumbs all over the kitchen. The units are poorly constructed and not well maintained. I have to call maintenance at least once a week to fix something. Our oven broke so they said they would replace it, and they just gave us a different old, outdated oven. The walls are covered in nail holes which they charge you a $250 redecorating fee so they can repair nail holes. They advertise that they have the fastest internet. It is extremely slow and often randomly disconnects for sometimes upwards of 30 minutes. Extremely inconvenient and unreliable. They show you a unit that has all updated appliances and TELL you that every unit has brand new updated appliances. This is a complete lie. Our appliances are all old and broken. When we moved in, Our fridge and freezer didn't have any of the door shelves, we had problems with our super old oven, the stove top was uneven so everything slides to one side of the pan, some of the burners on our stove didn't even heat up, and we had to have our thermostat replaced TWICE in one month. Not to mention, our smoke alarms didn't work. They're supposed to replace the locks on the doors when a tenant moves out. The lock on our front door was so old that it broke and we couldn't get into our apartment. They tried to charge us for calling maintenance after hours so we could get into our apartment. They have a raccoon problem and don't provide you with trash cans. So, you have to put your trash bags in the grass. When raccoons got into our trash, they tried to charge us $25 for "throwing grabage in our yard." They charge you $500 per pet that you have in your apartment. When I asked them why it was so much, they said it was the cost to clean the carpets after we moved out. As I mentioned earlier, they didn't even bother to vaccuum the carpets before we moved in, let alone clean them. Do yourself a giant favor, and stay as far away from Bengal Ridge and Brookside as you can. Don't walk, RUN.

If your going to live at Brookside townhomes or Bengal ridge then you're gonna have a bad time. After paying a $250 "redecorating" fee, I would have guessed that they would have finished painting the unit. No joke, the bathroom is 2 different colors and there's spots on the trim and ceilings where the painters got sloppy and got paint on them. the carpet and walls are dirty and have stains. The gutters are damaged and dump water right in front of the door. The internet sucks and only works when it feels like it, I am currently on campus wifi writing this. In addition to this, there was a billing issue and I was unable to contact anyone with customer service for 2 MONTHS! Considering that there are duplexes within walking distance from me for the same price that are brand new and are the same price as what I pay now, I do not think I will be renewing my lease. Also, the buses are decent and run fairly regularly after the first 3 weeks of the semester. BUT brookside plans on changing the bus route to include brookside midtown in the loop meaning the buses will come ONCE AN HOUR instead of EVERY TWENTY Minutes 0 out of 10 would recommend

Yep, pretty much worst place ever. Terrible house that breaks all the time. You're constantly calling maintenance who are always giving you the runaround. The house was filthy when we moved in, dog hair all over the carpet, they didn't even try to clean it, poop around the rim of the toilets. They give you fees out to whazoo, they are extremely rude. They will threaten to sue you if a random neighbor parks in your grass. All in all I wish I could give this place negative stars it's absolutely the worst possible place to live.

Bus never comes on time. Their buses come at least 10 minutes late and some times dont show up at all untill the next run. And only one bus at a time to pick up all the residents who live in Brookside and Bengal ridge. So the bus drivers just pass you by if the bus is fully occupied with students. Its litterally fully occupied with students who are standing on the bus. And its been about two months since i moved in but I have not receieved my mail box key yet. And i asked the maintenance to come fix the oven but that has not happened yet. Horrible so far.
