NoDa Neighborhood Summary

Short for North Davidson, NoDa is Charlotte’s hippest historic district. Though this neighborhood began as the city’s textile district, it has reemerged as one of the most artsy areas of Charlotte. Boho free spirits and hipsters can be seen milling outside of trendy restaurants and bars, experimental galleries, and tastefully shabby entertainment venues. Most of the residential housing in this area are apartments and condos, encouraging a sense of urban living and community. This neighborhood is perfect for those that love to frequent galleries, attend underground shows, and frequent hip bars, then NoDa is the perfect place for you!

Methodology

Each month, using over 1 million Rentable listings across the United States, we calculate the median 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom rent prices by city, state, and nation, and track the month-over-month percent change. To avoid small sample sizes, we restrict the analysis for our reports to cities meeting minimum population and property count thresholds.
