My wife and I have been a resident here for over a year now, and we stay here because of the location. This complex is dubbed smoke free, but there are a few residents that are allowed to smoke indoors (because they have been grandfathered in) and there are some that dont follow the rules. Even with multiple complaints only emails and flyers were sent out - which do nothing. There are also a few that smoke around the premise, which cause smoke to drifting open windows and if youre walking by smelling them blow the smoke in common walkways. Dog poop is everywhere. Residents dont pick up after their animals. The landscapers usually mow over it weekly and that usually does the trick. Their month-to-month program requires a two month vacancy notice. So its not month-to- month at all. When trying to end a lease 1 month early to return home for a family emergency, management didnt have any compassion (we had already lived in the complex for 16 months!). Which leaves us to pay the penalty fee for early cancellation which is more than the monthly rent. The staff are very polite and as helpful as they can be, but these problems still remain.
