Moved us out of our original townhome the day before our move in after we already got charged a down payment on electricity and put us in another one filled with garbage and trash, moved us again to an unfurnished townhome and told us multiple times "we'll put furnishing in today." Still no furnishing. And The manager we talked to was rude to me and my roommates even though we are trying to be civil as possible. The place we moved into had nails and push pins sticking out of the carpet, the carpet is ripped to high hell, we had to get our refrigerator replaced 4 times, stains EVERYWHERE, animal feces in the upstairs closet, and hardly any of this has been fixed yet. The thing that pisses me off the most is that we currently are not the only ones going through this, one of our neighbours can't use a third of their townhome because the entire basement flooded. If you're looking for a townhome, I advise you look elsewhere.
Update 5/20/18:
I barely ever leave reviews, and I have never in my life made an update to a review, but my experience with the management here has been so HORENDOUS, that I feel the need to touch up on it more.
So as some of you may be aware (because they make it their business now to bring it up whenever they can) copper beech baywater got new management at the beginning of the year. Every problem that arouse with maintenance requests they blamed on the unorginization of the past management and promised change. I might argue things have gotten even worse. Since the "new" management has moved in, it feels like we've had an issue with then every week.
Problems originally arose when they started doing quarterly inspections, we made several maintenance requests right then and there about stuff that was wrong since the biggining of the school year before we had moved in, thinking the new management would be of more use. So they charged us for about 5 damages, 2 of which were on our list we filled out at the beginning of the year (spoiler alert, they didn't even look at it, and when they finally did, they pulled the wrong address) and 1 of which (our kitchen blinds) had nothing wrong with it at all, and we had to argue with them for weeks to take those 3 charges off.
After that they started having maintenance people coming in and out of our house without ANY warning they were coming (not even for maintenance requests) which I'm almost positive it's illegal without at least a 24 hour notice. The reason this was an issue was because we had an unpleasant experience with a man copper beech assigned to replace our carpets the previous semester who broke into my roommates computer to message his ex wife on Facebook when he wasn't there on my roommates account and we didn't want people showing up without warning because of this.
Then, they assigned us a new roommate a few months ago, and I guess they forgot to tell us because one day our new fourth roommate walked into our house and sparked a whole lot of confusion. All said and done he turned out to be pretty cool, but it was still a not ok situation for the office to put us in, especially since our new roommate was told we knew he was coming.
We had another quarterly inspection and they literally tried charging us for the same things as before. However admittedly this one only took 1 phone call to fix.
Today, and the whole reason I'm pissed off enough to update my previous review, we got an email from the office telling us we have a new roommate moving into our four person townhouse...that currently already has four people living there. I emailed copper beech back saying that there was a mistake and I got a call back. Now the girl I dealt with this time was pretty nice and seemed eager to help, HOWEVER, I got an insight as to how disorganized they must be, because not only did they not have any record of our fourth roommate moving in, but they didn't seem to have on record who was in which room despite us giving them that information on multiple occasions, and they wanted to move someone Into one of the original roommates room.DON'T LIVE HERE
