Started out really great here with my boyfriend, but then we got new neighbors that had a dog that would bark constantly all day...
Started out really great here with my boyfriend, but then we got new neighbors that had a dog that would bark constantly all day and night. The neighbors were really loud too. We complained several times to management and nothing was done. Management(when we could actually get a hold of them, never there) would say that there was several other residents that complained too but still nothing was done. Called cops and animal services. Nothing. So if you want to pay high rent for a crappy living area go for it. Dog is barking as I write this :)

This is a great place to live. The management and maintenance staff are very friendly and very helpful. Whenever we have maintenance issues, they are quick to fix the problem. We enjoy having underground parking, swimming pool, hot tub, fitness center, and they allow pets. We have been here about 2 yrs and have no complaints.

I have lived at Platinum Valley for almost 4 years and have had no complaints. I like the large space I have and the balcony. The maintenance staff and management are very friendly and responsive to
needs. I especially like the underground parking and access to the
exercise room and pool/hot tub. Could use some attention with new carpet in the hallways and keeping the area around the dumpsters cleaner. Rent with additional amenities is reasonable.

Never returns phone calls and office hours mean nothing to the onsite staff. Response time on anything is 1-2 weeks even for not issues.

Avoid, avoid, avoid!!!!! ORIGINAL POST: Lived there shortly after they were built and loved it. Recently moved back to Sioux Falls and tried to tour. Manager was rude in interactions and stood me up twice to tour the apartment. It was a complete waste of time. I tried to call corporate in the Twin Cities to complain (figured they would be interested to know their local manager was standing up potential renters) and never received a response. Can only imagine how they treat you once they have your money.

I have been living at Platinum Valley with my boyfriend for 6 months now and love it. We have vaulted ceilings and all the amenities we could ever hope for. We cannot hear noisy neighbors, and there are additional little comfort things that platinum valley has that makes living nicer. These amenities include and are not limited to; a day room, a suite for low cost for friends or family visiting from out of town, garbage disposal, elevators, and grocery carts to carry loads inside. Rent is very fair considering I don't have separate fees for laundry and gym memberships. Like other reviews, management is often busy, but if you are polite, Heather is easy to get along with and let's you know good times to find her on days. Spacious apartments with central air and great location right off I-229!

Apartments are pretty spacious which is nice. Other than that about everything that could be bad is pretty terrible. Management is utterly a nightmare to reach. I have called, emailed, and physically walked down to the office more times than I can count; only to reach a voicemail (and never get a call back), or find that their door is closed during supposed office hours. I will give credit to the maintenance department as they are usually quick and helpful. The amenities that are considered included should be carefully considered when deciding to rent here. The pool is never open, which was a huge downside. From the outside looking in, the fitness center looks like it could have potential, but don't be fooled.

Lived here for a year and the pool/hot tub was always closed and under some sort of maintenance. Very small fitness center; most equipment is either unusable or dangerous to use.

I liked living here. The bedroom and bathroom were huge in my one bedroom apartment. I had the perfect walk-out patio on the ground floor. Whenever something needed to be fixed maintenance was there pretty quickly. The landlord lady was always very helpful. The pet deposit and regular deposit is so much more reasonable here than with any other place I have lived in, and I got my entire regular deposit back after I moved out. Trash is inside in the basement/garages and that was nice. The only issue I ever had was that my boyfriend's window got broken out in the parking lot, so it would have been nice if there were camera's in the parking lot.
