But I think that Seattle’s restaurant scene easily matches them; this city should be known for more than just its coffee. SCC’s central campus gives students a wide range of restaurants to choose from, with close access to Capitol Hill, the Business District, First Hill, and even Downtown. I’d rank SCC above any other school in terms of nearby restaurant selection. Students deserve that, with the school providing less on-campus dining options than the traditional college. Seattle’s nightlife has become a hot scene in recent years, highlighted by the heightened popularity in Capitol Hill. This neighborhood is a five minute walk from SCC, and undeniably has the best nightclubs in the city, as well as some of the best bars and restaurants. After a long week of classes, it’s the perfect spot in Seattle to unwind. Downtown is also just a fifteen minute walk; any nightlife opportunities that you can’t find in Capitol Hill you will definitely find here. SCC may not have the nightlife that other nearby colleges do on its campus, but you can’t beat its proximity to the city’s best.

Each month, using over 1 million Rentable listings across the United States, we calculate the median 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom rent prices by city, state, and nation, and track the month-over-month percent change. To avoid small sample sizes, we restrict the analysis for our reports to cities meeting minimum population and property count thresholds.
