A TERRIBLE experience at the Vistana! I just moved out about 30 days ago and moving was the best choice I made. Now that Im out, its my pleasure to help you make a decision. 1st, the new assistant manager and the new manager Camela are extremely rude. In the last 6 months 2 new managers 3 assistant managers, 5 sales reps! Now down to one rep Michelle(dont be faked by her smile) Everyone plays the nice game on day one, but on day 3, forget it! You signed the contract and good luck. If you end up with issues in your unit, they request you to move to another unit rather than fixing. The garage gate is always broken, the elevators are always broken, the front door doesnt allow you in to the property after 10p (a lot) and then you have to go through the side building or call yourself and buzz yourself in. Pool area countertops, table tops, furniture, are extremely dirty. Tv outside of pool never works. They never clean the bbq pits and years of grease gunk are visible (open and look before moving in) Now, on the 5th floor is a dog park, from the 4th floor you can smell it before you are even near it. Ask them to see it (even if you dont have a dog) this will show you how they take care of things. Im sure Management is likely to remove the dog park before keeping up with it. I believe tenants should have more power than the non resident managers who dont live in these condition. Now since I was on the 9th floor, water doesnt always have the pressure for shower or sinks. The water pump is always out and they continue to try to fix. I feel bad for anyone on higher floors. As tenants and previous tenants we always talk about these issues. So there is more issues but I would simply advise you to look at things very clear. Tables, TVs, bbq pits, DOG PARK, elevator, gate etc.. these are the things you use daily and continue to have issues and is frustrating. Ive been waiting for my deposit for a month and still round and round. The Manager tries to find that the problem is your problem then theirs. Some of our utility bills a month ago were $300-$600 and the manager shifts blame on you. A 3,000 Sqr ft. House wouldnt have a bill this high. My bill in my unit was about $50 of my use but you have to pay $80-$150 more for the community lights. Renters beware! Its better to pay more at another property then pay Vistana with headaches. On a positive note: The make ready reps are very nice and management should take lesson from them. All the employees at the Vistana are always on egg shells becuse of the Vistana newest managers. Retention is terrible for employees and keeping current tenants. Everything above is true. Just talk to any tenant walking in as your walking out!
