Ive lived at Watermark for about 2 years, and after reading some of the 1star reviews on here, I had to leave a couple of comments.
To begin, I have had nothing short of an amazing time at Watermark. I moved to LA from Arizona and had 1 day to find an apartment that was close to school and close to work. Not only did Ana help me in finding an apartment fast, she also made sure everything was taken care of for me so that my move could be effortless. Two years later, she continues to do everything she can to make sure that any issues that arise are solved to the best of her abilities. Miguel, who is in charge of maintenance, has also been a saving grace in helping make sure all the maintenance requests for the entire community are taken care of, day in and day out.
Second, for those leaving 1star reviews saying that staff leaves at 5pm, those hours have been posted throughout the community for as long as I can remember, and constant communication goes out about hours that change or if the office is closed.
1star reviews about pet owners not cleaning up, have a talk with your neighbors! There are signs posted everywhere and as a pet owner, we all know what our responsibilities are. Those are OUR responsibilities, not our management.
1star reviews about cops being called, look around at our surroundings. Cops are called every day all day in LA, again that has nothing to do with our management company or the owners of this building. Thats LA living to put it quite bluntly.
The building is beautiful and the units are amazing. Posting negative reviews about a bad experience here and there is still not going to get any issues solved. It just gives the building that WE ALL live in, a bad reputation.
Handle the issues with management, in person or in an email, but dont post negatively all over the internet. And remember, Ana and Miguel are the only two people running this building that has 250 units, so things may take a little bit of time.
Lets all take a step back and be grateful for the building we live in, and show some support, respect and gratitude to those who are trying to make each of our apartments more than that, and provide us with a home.
