Powelton Village Neighborhood Summary

To be near the campus without feeling like you’re living on it, Powelton Village has just what you need. Just north of University City — and with it, the University of Pennsylvania and Drexel University — Powelton Village is vibrant, youthful, and one of Philadelphia’s most politically active neighborhoods. It holds one of few thoroughfares to still fully utilize a streetcar system, plus Powelton is accessible by SEPTA if you’re hoping to travel to another part of Philly. To avoid small sample sizes, we restrict the analysis for our reports to cities meeting minimum population and property count thresholds.
