Watch their business practice. I paid a full deposit a month ago, but they never sent a contract "in a couple of days" like they said. Then they sent an email that they were downgrading my room, do you agree or else, and gave only a days notice. They also said the room was now $900, not the agreed $600. Huh? They were anxious to get deposit in hand but they didn't honor their own terms.

We moved our daughter here in August, 2021. A warning that these apartments have no living room - 2 good-sized bedrooms, a tiny bathroom, & a tiny kitchen. I was surprised that, upon her assigned move-in time, the apartment had not been cleaned AT ALL. There was rotting food in a cardboard box which was leaking onto the kitchen floor. In the bedroom, there were wadded-up globs of Kleenex under the bed along with used underwear. This apartment is extremely basic; it serves the needs of a college lifestyle. Pros: all utilities & laundry are included, roommate matching works well, & tenants are on individual leases so you never are responsible for your roomate's bills.

Clean, modern and right in the heart of downtown! Safe place as they have an office right at the door as watch for random people. Perfect waking distance to MATC and the University. Loved this place!

The place is really great and safe. I am staying there for last 6 months. One of my friend was looking for some apartment in this area. I have already suggested him to stay in Highlander. The place is really quiet and the place is also close to university campus. There is a bus stop, just 2 min away from Highlander Apartment. The staff is very helpful. I will suggest others stay in Highlander.

I've been living in Highlander for 10 months and so far so good. The staff is super helpful and they always make us feel comfortable. For example, I requested to move to an apartment on a higher floor and I was very happy that my request was heard. Yes, the apartment is small, but that is why it is cheap. The location is perfect and the fact of having all the utilities included in the price is something very attractive. I would definitely recommend the company.
