We have in the Saxony Apartments for 7 months already, the same time we have been in the US, and from day 1, this apartment is what has made us feel at home. We chose them in the first place because of how easy signing our lease was, whilst we were still in our home country, we could sign for just the school year. When we got here we saw how great the year was going to be, it was all packed with students, both national and international, everything in our apartment was clean and new, but the best part was their location! They are downtown, right in the middle of everything; you can walk to class, to the gym, to State St., to the Fresh Market, to the Capitol and every major restaurant and bar, it's awesome! What is really amazing are the staff working there in the office, Nichole and Mary, they are always there when you need them and solve any problems as quickly as they can. It has definitely been one of our best decisions to stay here, it wouldn't have been the same if we hadn't! — Happy Tenant - Patricia Alvaro Llop

I've rented in Madison for 5 years, 2 of which were with Saxony Apartments and they were by far my most pleasant experience. They have the most attentive and caring staff, and I haven't dealt with a management team that put their tenants as a higher priority than Saxony. Packages are held behind the desk, laundry facilities are clean and well kept, provided appliances in the apartments are brand new, and if there is ever an issue with something in your apartment they are always quick to address it. The location is perfect, all my classes were within a 7 minute bike ride, even as an engineering student who had most of them near Camp Randall. Saxony is a block or two away from the grocery store, several main bus stops, the Serf, the Kohl Center, State Street, and right next door to Ian's Pizza! — Happy Tenant - Tyler Robert

I was abroad when I had to find and sign a lease for the following school year with one of my friends. I knew Saxony was going to be a good fit for me once I saw their willingness to work with me while I was in another country. Through living with Saxony I only have great things to say. The place was spacious, clean and most importantly the staff continued to be amazing!!! As a college student, I have experienced plenty of landlords who only want your money and do not treat you with respect. The Saxony employees were committed in making your stay comfortable. They always made me the priority and if we had any problems they were fixed immediately! I would highly recommend staying at the Saxony because the staff is amazing, the location could not be better and the newly remodeled apartments/complex are comfortable and affordable. Thank you!!!

I was staying in this apartment when I was student few years ago. I think this apartment is very good for the money. This apartment is pretty much close to everything including State street, Kohl Center, Grainger Hall etc etc. Plus, rent itself is very reasonable. They pay almost all utilities except electricity. If I am back to student again, I would go back to that apartment.

Not the cheapest nor the nicest, but I had a great stay at Saxony! Everyone who I met that worked here was fantastic and incredibly helpful. Rooms are huge and well furnished. Only complain, but is a big one: The WiFi is terrible, regardless of what apartment you have. Not because it slow (because it is a decent speed), but because it will drop at random moments. if you play online video games this is extremely annoying. Solid option nevertheless.

Saxony is a price efficient, relatively modern style apartment complex in a wonderful location. The staff seems to be very family oriented, accommodating, and incredibly polite. I really appreciate the atmosphere, and I always feel safe in the buildings. What is probably most awesome about Saxony is the option for academic year leasing, which has saved me so much money. Not to mention the fully furnished apartment and wifi. Glad that I found this place. As a student at UW I find location to be important and Saxony is in one of the best locations on campus. You can't get any better than that!

Saxony is the perfect place to live when looking to live in a good location on campus for a decent price. My favorite thing about leasing as a student here is that Saxony offers 9 month, or academic year, leases so that you don't have to pay rent or sublet over the summer if you want to go back home. Rent includes everything except for gas and electric and cable, including heat and wifi. I have lived here for three years, in a newly remodeled unit and have enjoyed having my own spacious room and a full kitchen. Management has always been very helpful with the few problems I had in all the time that I've lived here in a very timely fashion and are very nice. I would definitely recommend living here before many other apartments in Madison while attending UW.

I have lived in Saxony for two years and have really enjoyed my experience here! The management is the best that I have encountered. The last place I lived it took forever for anyone to come a fix any problems. But when you report a problem to Saxony's management, they are up to fix it usually within the hour. And if they can't fix it right away, they fix it within the next day. They are extremely accommodating and truly want the best experience for their residents. All the apartments have been remodeled recently so the kitchen is brand new, with nice hard wood floor. The apartments are definitely on the small side, but it is perfect for college students looking to live in AFFORDABLE apartments very close to campus. The ONLY negative thing I can say is the internet slow, but the management has made it very clear they are looking for a new internet provider so I am confident this issue is being handled. Overall, this is a great location to make your home during your college years.
