Words will not do the Angelene proper justice. [I know we are all busy but read to the end; I promise it's worth it] I moved in two months ago and it is one of the best decisions I've made. And let me tell you, it didn't take two months for me to realize that.
When I first began looking for an apartment, I debated between forsaking extra amenities to save money. I narrowed down the buildings I would view and saved Angelene for last. Had it been first, I highly doubt I would have even looked at the others. It is second to none.
When I first arrived, I was greeted by a ray of sunshine named Nahisha. She had set aside an hour for our tour, which I figured was Much more time than we needed. I spent two hours with her.
In the first ten minutes of the tour I knew this was my new home. The positive energy in the building is infectious. It may sound cheesy but, for someone going through a difficult time in my life, being surrounded by friendly, genuinely happy people was refreshing.
The amenities are off the charts; the best I have ever seen. Not only is the gym incredible, there is a Separate yoga/spin/barre studio. Hello heaven. When we toured the rooftop pool & entertaining area it felt like we had entered one of the top LA hotels. The decor is beautiful, modern, and laid out impeccably. There are no shortages of places to relax outside, whether they be by the pool or down one of the corridors, which is especially nice in the summer with the warm weather. Moreover, the greenery is like art and the entire building is immaculate. I have lived in other high end buildings where I was shocked by the way the tenants treated the common areas and how the management allowed it to remain. Not the case here. Everyone is very respectful and clean.
In the time I have spent here, I have met so many friendly people, fellow young professionals in a varying array of careers, and everyone is very open to helping people grow and expand their professional networks, as well as make new friends. Moreover, the building hosts monthly socials for the residents; fully catered, DJ, the works, just as another way for the residents to get to know one anotherjaw drop. I just attended my first last week and it was a blast!
If you are thinking yea but it is pretty expensive set an appointment for a tour. I loved everything I saw online but it was physically seeing everything that sold me. Although I am ultimately paying more than I had planned for rent, the few hundred dollars I would have saved moving into my 2nd favorite building would not be worth it. I have a beautiful apartment and truly feel part of a community.
It really is as incredible as it will feel on your tour. I am so serious about that that you are welcome to come chat with me (if I am around) when you tour with Nahisha. Id be happy to answer any questions. Furthermore, after you meet Nahisha, you should definitely say hi to Joey. I remember coming in to handle my lease with Joey because it was Nahishas day off. When Joey greeted me, I remember thinking no way, there are two of them?! meaning I was blown away by how lovely Nahisha was (i.e. genuinely sweet and kind, not trying to sell me, knew every single resident by name etc) and could not believe that Joey was essentially the male counterpart. Angelene Corporate really hit a homerun in hiring the two of them because you could not ask for more from your management.
Hope this helps and happy house hunting! =0)
