No parking....seriously...good luck finding anything on your street, let alone in front of your apartment, and they NEVER enforce towing. Strong sewer smell (as in: even with your windows rolled up in your car, if you ride through with your AC on, your car will smell like sewage for a few minutes) rising from the grates in the driveways, and multiple noisey neighbors. Maintenance is slow at fixing things...if ever they actually fix it (gated community...but the gates didn't work for the first 5 months I lived here). The appliances and outlets themselves have questionable wiring (light switch shocked me, heating coil in hot water heater literally melted and nearly caught fire, and my appliances TURN OFF whenever I turn the light in the room ON). The look, space, and layout are nice however, which is the reason for the 2 stars, because without those pluses they would be a 0 star.

Lived here for a year in a brand new apartment: Many electrical issues during my lease. Very cheap appliances, if your dishwasher drains or even works consider yourself lucky. The entrance gate is more of an inconvenience than an amenity, as they consider it. Office staff is hard to reach and almost impossible to communicate with. Paid $1,400 a month for a two bedroom and when I brought up issues and concerns with the property management team such as cleanliness of the property, maintenance issues, and my overall dissatisfaction, I was told that I had unrealistic expectations. I would not recommend The Springs to anyone. One positive though... the location.

The agreements themselves have questionable wiring. The look, space, and layout are very nice, however, which is the reason for the 3 stars, because without that it would be 1 star.

If you're looking for a new place, The Springs is a nice complex, and I very much love having my own entrance to the apartment from the outside...I hate the corridors in most apartments. Pros: New buildings and apartments so we're the first ones to live in them. Dog parks and dog cleaning station Car wash station Pool (a bit small) Workout center (small) Friendly people Quick maintenance. Anthony is great. "Gated" community...yet the gate is still broken lol Garages are plain but do the job. Cons: Pretty high rent for what you get, but everyone is very nice to you. BAD rotten egg (sulfur) smell that's always present; I mean it's always there and you PRAY for some wind and hope you're upwind from it. (EDIT: turns out it's the wildlife area surrounding the complex. Can't complain about something that can't be fixed!) Sulfur smell and taste to water initially, but once we ran hot water through it, the smell went away. Some outlets and appliances didn't work when we moved in...if it's a new building and apartment, you'd expect them to work, but we can certainly understand growing pains and unexpected issues. Pool and workout center is just too small. They really should put in more on the north side. Parking is a pain at night, but what are you going to expect? Valet?

While apartments look fine because they are still fresh and pleasant (parking does seems to be problematic and unpredictable) the lease team are a bunch of cut throat, misleading and manipulative people it turned out. Nice and accommodating to you before you sign, then watch out for yourself. If you are trusting and thinking people are considerate and will explain things along the way - forget it. I have read reviews prior to that and noticed a number of complaints about staff but thought who cares about staff if the apartment works for us. They took a hold deposit, signed lease, in person promised to be flexible with move in date because the whole family with children is relocating from Canada, which was nice and reassuring, but instead created a confusing environment, and on the second day following the signed lease waived all the flexibility they had, and decided not to honor the lease anymore and to increase rate by $200 (from $1308 to $1500 something) if you still want it. Just outrageous! All happened just from Set 3 to Sep 8. While location worked for us because of the school we had chosen and we were making arrangements for the move, we were forced out from the lease within a day in a rude and dismissing way. They are keeping our deposit too. I bet you they had manipulated someone into paying more for the same unit, we weer supposed to pay the price advertised on the website, all fair. Request to provide management contacts was left unanswered as well, way to go Continental Properties Company, Inc. I just can't believe this can even be legal. The only thing they didn't say was You Are Fired! Very upsetting and unsettling situation for a family with a young child. Bad bad terrible experience. I feel sorry for residents of Liberty Townships with a lack of decent newer rental options in the area and having to put up with rude unaccommodating and "selectively" professional staff. Just a bad bad experience for us but i hope it going to be over soon although it should be heard by management so i intend to make sure they are aware tomorrow. For other people i would say if you are relocating get your companies to deal with these people so you don't loose your money for being a bit too trusting like some of us are and no "leasing agent" can hold your life plans hostage on top of the stress of leaving you normal life behind. No one is here to welcome you for real. a crashing experience for sure

I Love living here! Apartments are quiet and well built (Minus a few minor electrical issues) Everyone is very friendly and the since of community is growing. John with Maintenance gets everything done quick, easy and professional. He will go out of his way to make sure you are taken care of.The maintenance guys really make an effort to be apart of this community as well and I think that awesome. . I would recommend this Complex to anybody whose looking. The Gym does need a universal Cable Machine (Thats my only real fault so far)

Edit: 7/30: spectrum internet was to be installed today but the Springs' internet outlet was not functioning. A brand new building and nothing seems to work.

I lived there for a little over a year. There were many problems with both the kitchen and bathroom sinks leaking underneath, causing mold damage. There was an AC pipe that had leaked through the ceiling, the neighbors upstairs said they could feel it through the floor. But I still gave them the benefit of the doubt. When I had told them I was moving out due to personal issues, their demeanor towards me changed. I was told over 2 months ago before I moved out that I would get a dog deposit refunded since I no longer had the dog. It took FOREVER for anyone to get back to me. Then I was told that it couldn't be refunded, just tacked on to next months rent. Since I was still living there, I dealt with it. Then I was told I'd get another dog deposit since the second dog would no longer be there. I tried calling for a month. It was either voicemail or a passing message. Finally I had stopped in to talk about it. One of the girls even took down my address that the deposit would be mailed to. 3 more weeks go by and I get an email telling me since I no longer lived there, I can't get my pet deposit refund. I had put up a lot with the Springs; the rushed plumbing, the bad electricity, the slowness of the staff coming to fix things, etc. and everyone was really nice at first. But it's like since I told them I was leaving, they turned. I called corporate (Continental Properties) to tell them the situation. They "took my number down" saying they'd call me back. Still haven't heard a word.

Rented for a memorial service. Staff forgot and left us locked out. 50 people came with some flying from out of state. We had to last minute route people to my house. After party was suppose to start they unlocked it. I had to then route people back to the clubhouse and had to set up the memorial service while guess we're present. Very stressful and unprofessional. They cashed check, refused to refund me, and even refused to speak to me! This was a memorial service and stressful enough, and they made it worse! Manager was unprofessional and rude as well.

This is a truly awful place to live. I am in a one-bedroom, with utilities included- this place is over $1,200/mo. First of all...

This is a truly awful place to live. I am in a one-bedroom, with utilities included- this place is over $1,200/mo. First of all the rent is ridiculously high for what you're actually getting. I was sold on a pool and a "gated community", just to find out that the pool and gate would be installed right before the end of my lease. No refunds were offered, just their condolences. The layout of the apartment is awful, doors hit each other and it's built extremely cheap. The appliances are the low-grade GE, the dishwasher and dryer are very loud. Anthony and Jessica A. from the Staff are very good, but the property manager, Jessica E. is quite dreadful. I always pick up my dog's feces, except when it's liquid. Somehow, The Springs got a hold of some of this and charged me over $100. You are forced into paying a monthly fee for valet trash, which means you have to sit your trash bin outside every night, this might be convenient for people who don't generate trash between the hours of 7-10, but it was hard for me. Now that I'm moving out, the staff is telling me that I can't leave when my lease is up. I had to give them 60-days notice, which I failed to do. Now I'm forced to stay here until my 60-day notice sees through, even though my lease is up. Even worse, they are forcing me to pay a rate of $1,867/ mo. I'm extremely unhappy during my time here, I wish I would've never moved here. WHAT A WASTE!

I'm not sure why there have been bad reviews for the Springs. My husband and I love living here. Others have complained about the trash fee, but that is something that each tenant is aware of when signing the lease. There is a whole section explaining the trash process and the fee. As for the construction noises, I understand that it can be irritating, but once again, before moving in it was clear that construction for the rest of the property was not finished and that it would continue into the new year. If you knew it was a new build without finished construction and that the noise would bother you, why sign the lease? As for the staff, they are amazing. Jessica and all the other girls in the leasing office have been nothing but welcoming and helpful, thus making our decision to move here easy. Anthony, who is in charge of maintenance, has also been great! All of our maintenance requests are addressed in a timely manner and are fixed properly. We are thankful for such an amazing staff as we have experienced poor staff elsewhere. The amenities here are also great! We have a dog, and the Springs has provided a dog park as well as a pet spa for dog washing. Both make taking our pup outside enjoyable and fun. We were also able to participate in puppy pool day at the pool in November. It was a great way to meet our neighbors and their pets! The gym here is also nice. While there isn't a huge selection to workout with, compared to a traditional gym, for an apartment gym and quick workouts it does the trick. It also is open 24/7 which is a plus in my book with hectic schedules I can still find time to go. If you are considering moving here, I say go for it. Those who have posted poor reviews are just looking for things to nitpick. Everything you'll need to know is in the lease, and the leasing office answered any questions we had fully. We will be resigning our lease when the time comes!

This place is horrible. Electric cuts off over and over again. Workers left film all over hardwood floor. Workers bang on walls at all hours. They can't seem to fix electric problems. Outlets don't work, ceiling fans don't work and yes checked light switch. Pool wasn't done until 6 months after they said it was gonna be done. Nails all over streets and got flat tires several times from their crappy workers. This place is just horrible and the list can keep going but I have to try and sleep when they are not banging on walls. Do not rent here. They lie about everything and quality of work is absolutely horrible. Half of the apartment does not have working outlets even when they "fix" electric. Impossible to get whatever chemical workers left on counters and floors off. I can't explain enough on how bad this place is.
