They said you get what you pay for not really true! Cheap quality of the apartments very cheap made everything is paint! The maintenance very slow You have to go back at less 2 to 3 times so beg them to come! I have water leak! They told me we have 24/7 maintenance not really true! The windows in back rooms are very cheap you hear all noise from the AC/ unit! The bathtub making noise when you walk on it! The toilet 80% of the time you have to do it twice because keep leaking water! They raise the rent every year no loyalty to resident at all! The Gym room is junk some of the Machine doesnt work! the pool in summer time never worked right the water is very dirty! Dog poop all over! Smoking peoples all over! The only good thing living in this place is the school!

Avoid avoid avoid. This has been the worst place I have ever lived. The maintenance and office doesn't care about anything, we went an entire summer without proper A/C, and various other maintenance requests went unresolved. No one ever has a straight answer, and there is a terrible lack of courtesy/compassion from every staff member we have encountered. I will never recommend this place and cannot wait until we can get out of here.

I have lived at Heritage Green multiple times through the the last ten years. So, I've been through multiple managers and staff as well as two different owners. These apartments are truly the best apartments in Hilliard. They have unique lay outs, offering everything from 9 foot ceilings to multiple baths and beds. Their large one bedrooms are hands down the most awesome in Hilliard with enormous living rooms, private balconies and great light with huge windows as well as cathedral ceilings on the second floor! I've lived in the two bedrooms as well and they too are awesome! But, the large one bedroom is my favorite! They have services for your packages being delivered, call you when they arrive, mail boxes are convenient too. They have a terrific pool area, and the maintenance is good. In the last year they have began remodeling and upgrading so they offer the dark cabinetry and dark appliances many like these days, however they still have some classic apartments as well which offer lighter wood finishes and white appliances- which is my personal favorite! No community if perfect, but I've been in the real estate business for years and have seen so many apartments as well as living in them throughout Columbus. Heritage Green is the only place I want to live! Location is perfect for Hilliard as it it close to absolutely everything. The staff is good, they are friendly and do care about your stay! If you pay your rent on time, keep your place clean and when you leave you ensure your place is in good condition you won't have any issues and will enjoy your stay at Heritage! It's unfortunate that the hundreds of people through the years that have had great experiences with Heritage or the tenants that have lived here for years and years don't take the time to write their honest good reviews - because there would be many!! If you are seeking a great location with a decent price in Hilliard and a super nice place you won't be disappointed with Heritage Green!

The worst experience ever so far I only been here for 7 days and I regret it moving here ,so I got a got the apartment the Air conditioning wasn't working it took them like 3 days to fix it ,I have to call like two times a day to check where they at ,then my stair light is down ,my bathrooms toilet leaks ,so I called they said it's not emergency so wait like 48 hours and we will check you guys are disappointed it's an emergency, paying 1200 dollars for thus shity service is not fair I don't care about money ,but putting my family in these kind a mess is freaking me out, biggest mistake ever moving to this apartment complex heritage green apartment is a joke.

This place is alright. I lived there for one year (July 2014-July 2015). First I will say that the staff was always nice and friendly, even after I moved out I had forgotten somethings in the apartment and they let me get them and let me check my mail to get packages that would not forward. The apartments themselves are nothing spectacular, I believe as I was leaving they were renovating some of them. But they were the cheapest 2 bedrooms on this side of town I could find. The windows and sliding door froze shut during the winter. The thermostat was in the hallway of my particular apartment so say if the air was on, by the time the thermostat determined the a/c needed to turn on it would be way hotter in the living room and bedrooms. Parking where I was on the property was terrible. They actually had to tell guests not to park in front of our building at one point because there were hardly enough spots for the tenants. Also one big disappointment for me was that they did not allow outdoor grills at all! I did not find this out until after my lease was signed, but I would have likely gone somewhere else if I had known that. Another thing that was disappointing were the fees. They only charged you $150 for a refundable security deposit, which is awesome but then they charge you $150 non-refundable admin fee , and some other $60 fee. So in the end you only can get $150 bucks back, and they kind of reamed me on move out, saying there were issues that I did not agree with and I never got my $17.50 they owed me.

I have finished an online application to sign a 2-br apt here and paid the application fee and administration fee. I am supposed to move in at the middle of May. On May 4th, the leasing office of Heritage Green called me that the apartment will not be available because the old residents who live in this unit decided not to move. Seriously, you tell me 12 days ahead of time!!!!!!!!!!!!! Those residence whoever don't want to move suppose to tell the apartment leasing office at least 60 days ago. Now the leasing office personnel wants me to sign another apt which is about $200 more per month. I said no. And the leasing office also tell me if I am not renting here, the $60 application will not be refundable. WTF, you allow your residents inform you 12 days earlier that they do not want to move and kick your new resident out. I am so done with this place. What a terrible management has been run by Heritage Green.

I'm not one of those people who gets mad about one little thing and feels the need to write a bad review... I've also lived in several different apartments over the years so I don't believe I'm an apartment snob who feels every nook and cranny should be bleached and pristine. I lived on the bottom floor in one of the apartments on Shoal Creek Lane. I'm realistic so I knew that I would be able to hear the people upstairs, however, that is kind of an understatement... They have a couple bigger dogs so I knew it was going to be a little louder than I originally thought... I am a deep sleeper and I was woken up every morning when the dogs get back inside from their walk. I also know exactly when the people upstairs get home as I can hear the dogs jump around. I can also hear the people upstairs walking around. I can hear the dogs jump on furniture and jump furniture and jump on furniture and jump off furniture. I can hear vacuuming and I can hear every time one of the dogs bark upstairs. Friends and family members don't like to stay over because of how often they are woken up during the night and early morning. I know most apartment complexes use cheap everything in terms of windows and appliances. First off, the maintenance guy put that plastic stuff over the windows because of how drafty they are BUT didn't even know to blow dry it so it would shrink and actually keep the air out. I once lived in an apartment where snow would blow through the doors and it was warmer than my apartment at Heritage Green. Talk about a cold and damp apartment... Centipedes loved my apartment. The electric heat when set at 70 consisted of me wearing gloves, sweatshirt, and sweatpants because it was too cold for me to wear jeans. Granted, this past winter was worse than any winter I remember but I only moved into this apartment in February so the worst of it was already over. On 65 degree days it was warmer outside than in my apartment. As for cleanliness...I took over a sublease so I don't have a valid opinion on that. From what I have seen it's probably decent. Don't forget - Must give 60 days move out notice. Also, you pay $15 a month for trash and there is only one dumpster and it was quite the hike from my apartment.

This complex has gone so far downhill since I moved in here four years ago. I've lived in two separate apartments here and at first the experience was great. I loved my neighbors, the complex was always maintained well, and any issues I had were quickly fixed. In the past two years, everything has completely turned around. In 2012 I decided to transfer into a bigger 2 bedroom apartment with a roommate. When we first entered the new apartment, it was like the maintenance crew had not even touched it since the last people moved out. The entire apartment smelled so strongly of Curry that it took months and lots of money in candles and scents to make the apartment livable. One of the maintenance men even made the comment to me "I don't know how they let you move in this apartment in this condition." Some reward for a resident who paid rent on time and kept everything neat and clean for two years huh? Every year, the rent has gone up at least $50, and the price I pay for this unit is more than $100/month more than others who have the exact same apartment that moved in after me. Within moving in the new apartment, the back sliding door didn't lock properly, the screen door was broken and wouldn't slide, the front door handle was so loose that anyone could have easily broken in, the master bathroom toilet constantly runs if the handle isn't positioned properly and hasn't been able to be fixed in 2 years, the kitchen cabinets were filthy, and just recently the air conditioner started leaking and flooded into the laundry room and there is what appears to be mold growing up the wall by the leak. Maintenance said they would come back to scrub it with bleach but they haven't done that yet. I've gotten a notice twice now saying they are going to come in and charge $20 to fix a crooked blind that my cat bumped into. When I called the office to ask which blind was broken(none of them are) they couldn't tell me which one I needed to fix. They stated they want the apartment to maintain a high level appearance. If that's the case, why are there cars with flat tires not being moved, a garage door that doesn't match the color of the others, and pot holes everywhere?The sealing in these apartments is so poor and it's typical in the winter for my electric bill to be pushing $300. I pay more in a month for an 1100 sq foot apartment than my parents do for their 3000 sq ft home. Also, expect to hear your neighbors. The people upstairs are always stomping yet I got a call from the office that my TV was too loud. They supposedly have breed restrictions, yet I think recently I've seen more restricted breeds here than allowable breeds. If you want to try to find somewhere to park getting home later than 7pm, good luck. Often times I have to park on a different block because the residents with garages and driveways don't use them and take up the overflow parking. This week, I had to park my car so far away from my unit and the window was completely smashed in and the car broken into. The complex had so many pot holes after this year it was impossible to avoid them. They weren't even attempted to be fixed until August and even after "fixed" there are still cracks and holes everywhere! So many of the residents that live here now are trashy with beat up cars and let their children ride all over the parking lots and have nearly caused accidents dozens of times. The pool is an absolute joke. Residents from all over Hilliard come over to enjoy the city pool that's supposed to be just for the complex residents. At any given time, more non-residents are at the pool than residents. The bathrooms at the pool are absolutely disgusting also. Last year half the times I drove by the pool it was green! You pay $15/month for trash, yet the ONE dumpster is completely overflowing typically. I would not recommend renting here for what they charge. I'm paying nearly the same price now and getting a brand new apartment with the same square footage, hardwood floors, a strictly monitored pool, and new everything. TTheeThe residents that

Upon move in I was made to wait 5 days for the manager to sign my lease delaying the enrollment of my children in school, the kitchen floor was dirty with crumbs and jelly left by the previous tenant, there is hair and debris painted to the walls, the carpet was pieced together but not seamed and pulls up when the sweeper is run, the garage door opener did not work, still doesn't, and the neighbor's opener opened my door! Only 1 burner on my stove works properly though it has been fixed... hahaha... I have asked for a new one but I am awaiting that one.... We went to the pool only to find no toilet paper in the rest room. I called the office and left a message asking for toilet paper and paper towels to be stocked. two days later, still none. I asked the maintenance man to provide when we met outside the restroom of the community center. Two hours later my guest approached him and asked him to give her money to go to Kroger and buy toilet paper. He put a roll in the women's ... my little boys had to poop and so used the women's! My bedroom window was broken, that was fixed... the blinds in one window were jammed and a child pulled the cord only to break the blind... I was sent notice of the $20 replacement cost for the blind missing from the window. The weeds by the patio were 3 feet tall and I was promised they would be cut down prior to move in... they were not... I ran down the lawn men and made them cut them down!!! The bathroom sinks were clogged and still slow drain, the dishwasher has never worked and leaves a greasy film on rinse... the linoleum was rolled up and years of crumbs underneath. There is no insulation and the apartment is freezing and drafty. There are water leaks and I have brown stains on the ceilings. My garage door is pieced back together with wood on the inside and is bent and dented. The garage floor was filthy on move in and the new carpet had a grey trail from walking over the garage floor. The space over the closets had a half inch thick layer of dust, the bathroom bulbs burned out within days of move in... the outside light (at garage) has no switch so one must pay to light up the day or unscrew the bulb which someone will come by and screw back in. Plaster/drywall repairs and painting are worse than poor... my children can produce better workmanship than the paid labor utilized by management here. There must be six inches of snowfall before it will be removed from the roadways and salt will not be put down either. When maintenance does make repairs, they do not bother to clean up the mess left behind. A door knob fell off the first month and all the screws were missing from the front door lock plate. My bedroom door fell off the hinges... too short of screws in stripped holes... I repaired this myself!!!! I could go on and on... but I think the portrait is clear enough. I would not rent an apartment here again... I so look forward to the end of my lease and avoiding the great increase in rent those who choose to stay experience. No wise consumer (No, I did not read reviews so I was not a wise consumer) would move into this place. It is a dump... Oh, and the one garbage receptacle for the entire complex is usually flowing out to the roadway... can only assume that pickup is once a week. And the spiders. ants and silverfish are a constant that I have learned to overlook!!!! And, I was not permitted to see the apartment I would be renting beforehand... it was not available for viewing! Be wise and do not rent here.... it is a rental nightmare!!! Greenbriar East (now plowed under) was a pleasant rental experience compared to this! POOR.... VERY POOR... Strike Fair from the rating, it doesn't come close to fair. This is not luxury living!!!!
