The Haugh Performing Arts Center is located on the Citrus College campus and has 1400 seats. The HPAC hosts around 200 performances every year, like musicals, college graduations, choir concerts, dance recitals, storytellers, puppet shows, and more. Every third Friday in February, residents of Glendora get a Snow Day! Real snow is created and put in place for wintry activities that can’t occur naturally due to the SoCal climate. In the summer, Glendora hosts a Movies in the Park series which is free and screens movies at the bandshell. Also at the bandshell at Finkbiner Park, is the Summer Concerts in the Park series, featuring live music every Sunday during the summer. Easter, Halloween, and Christmas are also celebrated through events open to the public. About 12,000 students attend Citrus College in Glendora, California. Slightly more women attend CC than men, with about 54% female students and 45% male students. Of the campus and its surrounding area, about 86% of the population is White or Hispanic. Roughly 61% of students are under the age of 21, making it a community college with a younger average age than most. Nearly 1 in 4 students have children. About 23% of students are non-native English speakers. Most attend Citrus College part-time, and work at least 21 hours a week outside of their classroom commitments.
