I tried to go to a class here at La Verne University but the parking was so bad. Then I had to try to find parking in a parking structure they build and that was just too far up by the time I found a parking space it was too late to attend the class so I left. Its better if you can find a place away from the school to park and walk a few blocks. It seems like a big school but not enough parking.

Financial aid office will screw you over last minute and make changes to your account NOT tell you via email or anything, they got an extra 9000 and I had to transfer out at semester, appeals are almost pointless because they rarely get sent for review by the board. The other offices are very sweet though, super respectful and will give you every detail you need and help wherever they can (shoutout to student accounts). Also overall have great professors, I only had trouble with 1/4. Overall unless you get a decent award amount, there are many other schools that are much better and where you'll get your money's worth.

Applied here as a safety and got accepted. When I received the acceptance letter I was provided login portal info that was invalid. I called admissions about the problem but their phones always go to voice mail and they never call back. Im glad I never did get a call back because after doing extensive research of the school I found out a lot of former students call it a "degree mill" and its accreditation has been spotty. Save your money and attend a public institution.

I'm a proud graduate of this university. I loved the intimate feel of the small campus, the small class sizes, the outstanding and accessible professors, my smart and witty classmates, the greenery all around the campus, the ivy-covered exterior of Founder's Hall, and the great reputation of the school. I understand that some people may prefer to attend a large university, and/or a college with nationally ranked Division I NCAA sports teams to cheer on every Saturday, and that's fine. But for me, I loved my experience at La Verne. It was everything I needed and more. I have only positive things to say about my alma mater.

Very poor environment, forces their atheist views on students. If you stand up for your faith they will scorn you and report you to the administration if you ever mention the Bible. But if you tell them your homosexual you will practically receive a standing ovation. Teachers have openly mock students and or their faith. Administration has warned me that it is in appropriate to speak about my faith. I fought for this country in the Armed Forces on the front lines. No liberal college is going deny my right to free speech or freedom of religion when I have paid for them in blood, sweat and tears.

La Verne is the best private school ever. Did you know it was one of oldest schools in the State? They also franchised out to other areas depending on your degree. I had to drive to Laverne every day, but so glad I did. My degree helped build my business dealing with contracts, running a corproration and I can say I know what I'm doing now. Love LaVerne and private school sure does manage smoothly.

Received a degree from the University of La Verne (at a satellite branch) and was very satisfied with both the quality of the professors and the curriculum. I found the professors to be a refreshing blend of traditional academia and real world experience related to the respective field I was studying. The customer service was also very good. I felt the school really cared about the students. Classes were offered at times that were most convenient for students. As a private school the tuition was higher than other options but I felt in the long run it was worth it. I am very satisfied with my decision to attend ULV.
