I have been so blessed to have such expertise maintenance service! The system is so convenient at any hour of the day or night. The repairs are great for any issues you may have. But more than that I feel like the service man, Rich, and Alejandro are almost like calling on family - but with expertise! The come as soon as possible, they always solve this issue, you can have all the confidence in the world to trust them in your home. And, so personable just like a friend you have known forever. I lived at Avalon Garden City for 4 years in one of their one bedroom apartments. The maintenance and leasing staff were fantastic. Rich, one of the maintenance staff members, always went above and beyond. He ensured that our apartment stayed in tip top shape. Whenever we had an issue, he would be at our apartment within the hour and had it fixed. Vinny, one of the leasing office team members, was fantastic. He was always helpful and super kind. He made the rental process easy. Overall, I had a great experience living in the Avalon Garden City apartments.

Lived at Avalon Garden City for 4 years, and could not say enough about the maintenance staff and leasing office. Rich, along with the rest of the maintenance team, were always there, especially during emergencies. One night, our building's drainage system had an issue, causing a small amount of flooding near our washing machine. Rich came right away, and stayed with the plumber until 10:30pm to make sure everything was 100%. Vinnie, our leasing professional, was also amazing and always made sure we were taken care of.

Today is Friday, June 10 and Ive been having an issue with my fridge in my apartment and thankfully and Im so grateful to the Avalon Garden City, Omar from maintenance figured out what it was and now I have no more problems with my fridge in my kitchen. Ive been living here since January and I absolutely love it. So if anybody out there is looking for a place to live this is definitely the spot to do it at.

Started out fantastic almost 4 years ago, but community has gone downhill with a steady increase in crime and residents that leave garbage out, fail to clean-up after their dogs and ignore no-smoking (weed) rules.
There's major train track construction happening right behind the townhouses that sometimes starts at 7:00AM and ends at 6:00PM; the noise has meant I cannot work from home and most of the walls have cracked from the reverberations. That's not Avalon's fault, but it's impacted those of us who live here.
On the plus side, the maintenance crew here is top-notch and service calls are answered quickly and courteously via an app. Vinnie is also great, but sometimes seems to lack the authority to make major decisions that are left to corporate.
Rent increases have averaged 9-10% in last two years, which is a pretty big shock once that increase totals more than $500 per month. I asked about changing carpet as it was used when I moved in 3+ years ago, but to no avail. I'm moving out, but the new tenants will probably get new carpeting and the posted rate on the website is less than my proposed renewal rate. This as the Nassau County Sheriff supervised an eviction a few doors down from me on Monday. Go figure.
There are two brand new luxury apartment buildings opening within 1/2 mile of here, so folks will have some more options and Avalon will have a chance to regain some of its lost mojo.
