Holland Residential is a scummy company. Don't live here - learn from the reviews. Good reviews are fake. Dogs are barking inside the courtyard without stopping. People let their dogs out on balconies and they bark. If you want quiet - this ain't the place. A few times I wanted to use the jacuzzi and pool and some kids were snooping around the building and when I asked them if they live here, they started attacking me and acting all crazy. This place is no longer safe and I am definitely getting out of here before my lease expires.

The staff is not friendly - the main guy who is always hiding in his office is rude and unfriendly. This space here is a war-zone and construction zone as of this writing. Get ready to wake up to a constant beeping noise of heavy equipment backing up. This property has an appearance of luxury, but forget about the peace and balance - its not here. Construction and noise make this place another "metro Denver". The people who live here are not friendly at all which is surprising given the colorado friendliness. The Mexican restaurant downstairs is also very noisy. Twice a day they roll out the chairs outside making lots of noise. Everyone who has windows facing the beautiful courtyard will hear the rumbling noise of the restaurants. This is why nobody uses the courtyard or balconies here. It looks abandoned and sterile. On weekends - forget about opening your windows for fresh air and a moment of peace. The Mexican restaurant monopolizes all evenings with nice weather with crowds that are loud and music that is also loud - right in front of your windows. Look elsewhere to find better deals. The prices here are too high. The sharing between commercial and residential spaces is not well thought out. Construction is heavy!!! P.S. The other reviews that give this place 5 stars are ridiculous. It's impossible to rate this place a full 5 stars with all the construction and noise around here. Those people who rate it 5 stars must be either fake or employees of this place.

So I've been living here for about a year now and everything is still pretty much to my satisfaction, though there are a few...

So I've been living here for about a year now and everything is still pretty much to my satisfaction, though there are a few things I wish could be changed/fixed... One thing is I wish the maintenance/cleaning staff worked on weekends... That may sound petty, but this place is booming on the weekend, with many tenants that utilize the common areas. The problem is most people here don't know how to clean up after themselves, so the place looks completely trashed come Sunday night. Second is the garage situation... When I first moved here, everybody had assigned parking spots and nobody could reach the 3rd level or higher without a key fob. Well, for some reason, the door keeps getting jammed or broken to the point it doesn't shut down. This has happened at least twice in 2017 and is currently stuck open as of today (Feb 2018)... This is a major security concern, because regardless of how nice the area is, cars still get broken into... They even used to have Denver police patrol the property at night from midnight to 5AM but I don't believe they do that anymore... Also, I have just learned that the once-assigned parking has turned into a free for all apparently. I haven't had my car for about 3 months due to an accident, and in my parking spot I had a Bicycle... Now it wasn't the most expensive bike in the world but I recently went out to check on it and it was completely gone... I don't know if Milehouse removed it or it was stolen but either way it sucks. Overall I still enjoy living here and will most likely sign for another year but hopefully they address some of these issues

Holland Residential is a joke. After living here a few months and talking to leasing and maintenance about why a luxury apartment complex is so ran down. I unfortunately am cutting my lease early due to lack of respect to the people who take care of the building and the fact that the building is simply falling apart. I do not want to live in a community like this any longer. It seems as if everything is done half-a$$ around here and I'm fed up with it. Kyle in the leasing office was very helpful with giving me the insight of how this company is ran. The only plus with this property is the stunning views.

I used to love this place, and now Im just feeling frustrated with their lack of organization and security. First of all, the parking situation. I am currently on my 3rd lease (again, used to love it here)...and received an email regarding changes to parking that was worded in a way to make it seem like they are doing us a favor...HA! Rather than continuing to give tenants each a dedicated parking spot, parking is now moving to being completely open. Im sorry you guys are too disorganized to keep records of who parks where (which is obvious in the inquiry emails sent out asking us to remind them of our parking spot number), but now I have to fight for garage parking? Im a luxury apartment community? Ridiculous. They CLAIM they will be able to monitor who parks where based on a sticker in the windshield, but we ALREADY HAVE stickers in the windshield that are clearly not being utilized. There are MULTIPLE cars in the garage that are COVERED IN DUST because they are secondary cars for tenants, and now youre saying you are going to care about the parking stickers... In fact, with the current assigned parking system, I have had multiple people park in my spot, and when Ive reached out to the staff for help, Im told I can call the tow company myself...what? Are you kidding me? Secondly, the parking garage door is stuck open (for the umpteenth time since Ive lived here), which means anyone can walk into the garage and into any floor in the building. This is supposed to be a secured living space, but is clearly no longer a concern for Milehouse. In fact, about 6 months ago, several cars on the first two levels (levels designed for retail space and not for tenant parking) were broken into and had their windows smashed. Luckily for those of us beyond the parking garage door, that these people did not access the 3rd level. But its been stuck open for over a month. However, I gave a second star for a few reasons. First, the leasing agent named Alex is wonderful. Anytime Ive needed anything or had a question he has been helpful and nice. Secondly, the amenities and location are amazing! And the apartments are also beautiful...however, if I start having to park outside on the top floor (garage parking being one of the things that first attracted me to this community), and if the security issues are not resolved, then I will sadly move down the street to an equally beautiful and convenient location that offers the parking that is pretty standard in the luxury apartment industry at this point.

While it's at a great location, has terrific amenities, and a friendly leasing staff who personally know your name, we've been extremely frustrated with the company's lack of security. We've had three burglaries within the last three months. If this problem is resolved, we would recommend this place to any and everyone.

Phenominal Living in the City !! I absolutely love the residential area and all the amenities. But the real reason why we are love it here so much is because of the team of people that operate this location. The leasing team Nic and Kyle are Amazing ! They are always willing to meet our needs and treat us like Red Carpet Residents. I have lived in a few other properties before, but nothing can beat or match the Milehouse Team. Thank you so much for making my living and working from home experience a sheer joy ! Not to forget to mention the excellent restaurants in the area and the best dog park in town !! Its heaven on earth !

Nice apartments but don't plan on moving here if you enjoy your sleep. It seems as if they "test" the fire alarms at least twice a month (which doesn't sound bad but when they go off loud asf at 8 in the morning it'll completely ruin your day)...Also they have the maintenance or landscapers using a leaf blower every morning at 8:30 in the courtyard. I like to leave my balcony door open for fresh air so this always wakes me up... Every morning... I'm so over it

As we walked in to inquire about apartments; the leasing consultant waved to us and quickly walked in the back and put up the office closed sign (it was swinging) and proceeded to walk out the back door. So due to the incompetence set forth by the leasing staff we decided to take our business elsewhere. The building and area is nice, I cannot adequately speculate on the leasing staff however. Unfortunately we had a less than adequate experience, hopefully in the future they will aknowldge perspective clients/tenants and be available to assist them.

Have lived here for 15 months and just renewed my lease. I have had nothing but a pleasant experience from management, staff and especially maintenance. Like any brand-new facility there are going to be growing pains but Paul and everybody in the leasing office have always bent over backwards to try to accommodate myself, as well as the other residents to my knowledge. There are not a ton they ask of the residents (clean your dogs' poop, don't bring glass in the swimming pool/hot tub area that is open all night and all day) so my only complaint would be with other residents not respecting these simple guidelines. Over my time here I've gotten to know one of the main maintenance guys, Dustin, and this dude goes above and beyond any expectation you would have of any employee at any business to make sure that your experience is nothing but top-notch.

Holland Partners markets Milehouse as a living experience, a "life above" according to their website. However, my time at Milehouse has been very unpleasant due to the ongoing construction and constant delays. The construction is CONSTANT. Sometimes starting as early as 7:30. It is not only loud, but it also makes for congestion when entering and leaving the building. The construction is not likely to be completed anytime soon, in fact the tenants just received a notice to be prepared for more construction as the workers start to prepare the first floor of the building for the businesses that are planning to move in. There are no businesses there currently, despite the depiction of businesses being there on Milehouse's website, and a quick glance of the first floor reveals that there is a LOT of work that needs to be done before businesses move in. I spoke to one of the construction workers, and he told me that the adjacent building will not be completed for another YEAR AND A HALF. So do not move in here expecting peace and quiet. Further, if you do not live on the top (sixth) floor, then expect to hear your neighbor above you. I live on the top floor, but I know of a number of residents on lower floors that complain of the noise of the tenants above them. The location is also tough if you have a pet. Not only is there is a $500 pet deposit along with an increase of $25 a month in rent, but it is difficult walking your dog at lunch with the constant stream of F-150 pickups coming in and out and heavy equipment operating due to the construction. The positives of this place are the finishes in the apartment (nice granite counter tops), the leasing agent Paul is really nice and most of the tenants seem like pretty good people (however, I have talked to others that live here that have had some problems with the their neighbors), and I really like the location. In sum, despite a few positives, Milehouse was not ready to open, and the constant construction makes it evident that they do not appear to be ready anytime soon. Before signing a lease at Milehouse, I would recommend you first look at the other nearby options. UPDATE-April 11, 2015 I downgraded my review from 2 stars to 1 star for the following reasons: My washing machine has been defective for close to three weeks now. I notified management numerous times, but they have not replaced it, instead, they let me know that they were going to send the serial number to the manufacturer to try to "expedite" the process of fixing this issue. Nothing has been expedited and my washing machine is still defective. There are plenty of empty, unleased apartments in this complex, why they don't switch out my defective washing machine with one from the unleased units, I do not know. Construction-Construction now starts at 7:00 a.m. on the north side of the building, where Milehouse is building a parking lot for all of the retail stores that have still yet to open going on 8 months now from when I moved in. The construction is noisy and it also creates a lot of congestion, which makes for an unpleasant experience.

Treated my family very poorly. Communication in the form of return calls was almost non existent after providing money down to hold unoccupied and incomplete units. We gave them money to hold a unit, any unit on the west side, early on in construction but somehow or another they came up leased. We tried calling several times but no return calls were received and no calls to inform us when the occupancy documents were received as promised.. We did get our money back but this was a terrible experience.

By far the best apartment experience! Management and staff present themselves in a friendly, helpful and professional manner. Although there are outside factors that cannot be controlled (i.e. construction), MileHouse management and staff go out of their way to accommodate residents. The maintenance team does a fantastic job, and not only is the building brand new, but also always clean and inviting. A pool deck and fitness room overlooking the mountains isn't bad either!
