It's over 90 in my apartment! AC is a luxury not a right, according to building manager. That's a great way to take care of you residents. The roof leaks in multiple locations and repair and maintenance is non existent! The hallways smell of mildew. It's gross. Don't move here! You'll be counting the days until your lease is up!

Antiquated building - air conditioning that barely functions and management won't replace individual filters - rent increases with limited amenities - balconies in disrepair - common areas are filthy with pet stains - windows that allow cold air to come in - dog pee/feces in elevators - overflowing trash bins - missing window screens that management won't replace - Although some posts state that the rent is affordable for the area, most tenants don't stay long and those who do are elderly and basically locked in with no other options. A very place to consider living!

I have left several messages inquiring about a listed apartment, and haven't heard a word back. I can't imagine how awful the customer service...

We enjoyed living at High Country House over the past two years. Great location, big apartments, great views, and very affordable for the great Cherry Creek location. The management has been really responsive over the past year and has tried hard to renovate the building. We moved for only two reasons: (1) great time to buy a house, and (2) no pets policy at the apartment. While I understand that pets will ruin carpets and create unwanted odors, but we just wanted to have a dog. Anyway, I highly recommend it for any looking to live in a big affordable apartment in an area that is generally not very affordable.
