These are some of the nicest apartments I've lived in as far as noise, crime, renovations, and amenities goes. It is always pretty quiet here and I feel safe walking to the mailbox or hot tub at any time of the day. Neighbors are friendly and there doesn't seem to be many parties or issues you normally deal with at most apartment complexes. Maintenance is fast to respond if you need help with something. It is super close to Walmart which is convenient and there's always coffee you can go grab from the leasing office. It's a little expensive here but the apartments are renovated and bug-free, so that's a plus! The community utility fees seem to be pretty high but they base it off of how many people are in your apartment and in your building, so they make it as fair as possible. Overall I would recommend these apartments if you want something "high end" enough to be proud of your home but still affordable.

As far as apartments go, this is probably the best one I've lived in. Yeah, you get some normal apartment noise - you hear your neighbors going up and down the stairs and you hear them a bit when everyone is getting home from work and moving around more, but overall noise hasn't been an issue. My building isn't located near the road, and other than the occasional sound of people getting in/out of their cars it seems like a pretty quiet complex. There are kids who run around after school screaming, literally screaming, but they go inside around 7:30pm or so, and I guess kids running around outside is better than them sitting inside watching TV all day. I usually have to wear ear plugs to sleep, but I haven't had any problems with noise at night here so far. Sara and Logan in the office are really nice. I moved here from Texas and they were super helpful and got me into an apartment with no hassle and they made the whole process very clear throughout. They always answer the phone when I call and the leasing office itself is well kept. This is an older complex, but the parking lot and grounds are clean and I see the maintenance guys going around and I think I even saw someone sweeping up near one of the dumpsters. So far everything in my apartment works fine, and considering how spacious these apartment are and the amenities, this place is really affordable. I have a 2 bed/2bath for $1445 and I have a friend who lives in a new complex and she's paying $1400 for a small 1 bed/1bath. Yeah, there are a few rough edges here and there, but the apartment has been updated and I have no issues. I hear my neighbors doing normal stuff throughout the day and you hear the occasional dog barking, but it's not prolonged and I haven't seen doggy messes anywhere, so either the neighbors are picking up after themselves or the maintenance guys are. This complex is amazingly located near several stores and major roads, but the roads around the complex aren't super busy or noisy, which is a big plus. And this is a nice middle class area, so you feel safe and there are several pretty neighborhoods to go for walks through. There is a random guy who might be homeless who pushes a shopping cart through the parking lot, but he seems harmless, and Denver is a big city, so I think you're going to see stuff like that everywhere now and then! Researching apartments out of state made it seem really scary to move here due to reading crazy reviews, and I did see some negative reviews for this complex, but I've been here a week and I don't have anything negative to say so far. All in all this is a pretty great complex, and I'm sure there may eventually be some issues, since people come and go, and we might get some bad neighbors now and then, but the office staff here seem really nice and I feel like they'd address any concerns I may have as long as I approach them in a friendly way!

This place is my first apartment and it was a blessing my lease is going to be up in June if I wasnt buying a house I would rent here again the guy who we approached (Daniel) is amazing very knowledgeable and well dressed I would recommend this place to everybody we have family that moved in here because we told them how good it was over all 10 stars if I could! I havent had any bad experiences here. The only thing Id like to see happen is during days when rent is due, if another employee can stick around to help the crowds that come flooding in. I understand how stressful someone can feel knowing your the only one making sure everything goes right especially when it comes to personal checks. Other than that every time I have an issue with my apartment they respond to the issue fairly quickly.

I have had wonderful experiences with Daniel (manager) and his former assistants were also very competent. Unfortunately, Daniel is the only one left of this crew and the current assistant manger is to be avoided. Zero customer service from her - my advice is to work with Daniel. Paying rent is extremely frustrating since there is no after hours drop slot and it is costly to try to pay online. If you are late by one day expect to pay at least $170 and if you aren't dealing with Daniel you will be talked down to and criticized in addition to having to pay the corporation's hefty fees. Very unpleasant experiences!

Really disappointed with this business. If you're young, hard-working, and trying to move out on your own, please do your research and be aware of this place. We met with Katherine Roberts, who was a very new leasing assistant. Unfortunately for my fiancee and I, Katherine did not know her information at all! She was going to charge us a pro-rate and first month's rate upon moving in, when in actuality, when we talked to her co-worker, Daniel, he told us that the information Katherine gave us was not correct. We would only have to pay the pro-rate upon moving in, which would cover our first month living there, then normal rent would kick in the following months. This business also stated that my fiancee and I signed documents, which is really worrying because the only documents we signed were the applications. Beware that they are doing this! Katherine gave us misleading information, and proceeded to claim that we did not understand anything she told us from the beginning when we had confronted her about it. Katherine accepted our deposit, which is claimed to be "refundable" by this business, and did not answer our questions thoroughly. We asked for our deposit back, and they refused. Please do your research as I know we all work hard and are trying to make a living.

Management is the worst (especially Mary-Ann) and the Regional manager, Shannon) is nothing but a big fat two-faced liar, with a horrible attitude from the depths of Hell!!! Jeff the Maintenance Manager is completely worthless too!!!. Furthermore, they do not take care of this property. My apartment has not been serviced correctly, since before I moved in last year. Meaning, I was not able to see all of the issues, such as several years of on-going bad plumbing, very poor & dangerous electrical issues, Severely and Heavily Rusted, & Corroded valves and gas pipes on out of code and regulation Hot water tank with insufficient heating and A/C. Therefore, nearly every month Xcel Energy Power Company is sending me alerts about way more energy consumption over my neighbors. Nothing but patch up and touch up work as they go with the same issues reported 2-3 times over again. Ridiculous CAM charges every month, But for what?!?!?. Not to mention, management put out notices for additional monthly charges; for all residents for items left outside of the dumpsters. But the vendors and third party service teams have put old, outdated, rusted, and busted hot water tanks and other waste material outside of the dumpsters, for the Garbage Men numerous times this year alone! Residents parking crooked nearly everyday taking up two or more spaces, even during office hours. But no notices, warnings, or citations have been given. Furthermore, No way to drop off rent payments or service requests after hours. The after-hours security guard is a complete joke! However, Time is running out on corruption!!!

Rent payment can be frustrating. They do not have a rent drop box for after hours or when the office is closed. We were charged a $150 plus an additional $10/day we were later e with our rent payment. We went to pay rent 3 days before but the office seemed to be closed, no one answered the phone and there was not a sign posted whether they were out showing an apartment. When we went to make our payment the day after a holiday, they explained to us that someone was working the day we went to make a payment, which we didn't believe. They let us know that we can just slip our rent payment underneath the door and that the cleaning crew would place the check on their desk. When we asked if we can get a credit since we tried to pay our rent on time but couldn't due to the fact the office was closed and no rent drop box, we were stuck having to pay an additional $160. This is so irritating. If you have to tell residents to "just slide the rent underneath the door", maybe you need to invest in a simple drop box. Thanks Alton green for charging me more and not doing anything to help us out except to just slide the payment under the door.

There are plenty of nicer and more affordable apartment complexes in the Denver area, if you can stay away from this place!

Probably the worst apartments I've ever lived in. The only good thing about this place was the maintenance staff. The reason we know maintenance so well is because everything in our apartment broke at least once. We moved into a "newly renovated apartment" and there was more wrong with it than probably an old one. The hot and cold on our kitchen sink was switched upon move in, our entire kitchen flooded (it took 4 days for someone to come fix it), dishwasher stopped working a few times, the oven wasn't fully installed upon move in, our toilet broke probably once a month, our door knob fell off twice - we got locked in the apartment the fist time, washing machine never ran right, among other things I'm forgetting because there were too many things wrong. When I e-mailed the property manager she wouldn't take fault and said "they're not brand new apartments, just renovated. Of course there's going to be problems". The price is cheap but you get out of it what you pay. As for the pool- very disgusting. There was a dirty band-aid stuck to the side of it for at least a month last summer. The pool was so dirty. Not to mention, I hope you're not counting on getting your deposit back...because they will take the whole thing upon move out.

Alton Green Apartments is an amazing well kept apartment community... Notice how I said community. The staff is always coming up with events such as opening pool party where they serve hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, and drinks. Also, the staff in the office goes out of their way to memorize EVERY guest's name. As soon as you walk in they say, "Oh hi __Name__". Also, Brandon in the office is an extremely nice guy who exceeds at customer service. I went in for a package and he automatically new there was one for me without me even telling him. AMAZING. The staff and the maintenance crew know what their doing. I do have noisy neighbors that like to play loud music at night but what can you do... they signed a lease just like I did. Great place. 9.5/10.

I have lived at Alton Green since Feb of 2014 and really have nothing bad to say about the complex! Really quiet and peaceful, only a few kids in the neighborhood and no loud neighbors. The pool and hot tub are kept up really nicely, just wish the grills out there were gas powered! The apartments are spacious and the staff is really attentive and pretty efficient. Would definitly recomend for the price range!

WORST APARTMENT COMPLEX I'VE EVER LIVED IN! Management is horrible, dog waste EVERYWHERE! Maintenance half ass fixes everything. Almost everything is falling apart in the apartment. Don't bother asking management to get anything fixed its takes weeks to get someone over just to LOOK at the problem another week or two to have it half ass fixed. I do not recommend the Alton green apartments to anyone not even my worst enemy.

I have lived here for 3 years, and the last year has been nothing but the WORST! New management took over and the place has really gone down. Trash everywhere, dog poop all over the place, barking dogs all night long, and the noise from neighbors is insane. Don't bother making a complaint to get any of it fixed, they do not care. The office staff will start treating you as if you are the hassle if you complain, and never return a phone call to you again. Just drive on by and find somewhere else to live. The price is too high for what you have to put up with.
