Great place to live if you want to be within walking distance to the short north. It's an older building, but very affordable and maintenance is great! Any time I submit a maintenance request, they come immediately the next day to fix it. We had small holes in our back screen door, so we couldn't leave just the screen open because bugs were getting in. I put in a maintenance request asking for a new screen door, and two days later they came and replaced it with a new one! Would definitely recommend living here if you don't have a large budget to spend but want to be in the short north area.
I had previously posed a negative review. The issue has since been corrected. I appreciate the Village West parent company for taking things seriously.

The location is an easy walk to the Short North but is still quiet with plenty of parking.The apartments are spacious for 2 bedrooms and have a back patio.The staff is very helpful and any maintenance request is quickly resolved. They even replaced the carpet in our apartment right before we moved in. Rent is very reasonable for the location!
