This is one of the nicest affordable luxury communities in Columbia. I lived here for a few years and the overall experience was good.
Pro: LANDSCAPING dream..if you love a place that focuses on grounds upkeep then this is your dream spot. They landscape all year around and sometimes all day. The end result is always beautiful. There is a gym with the bare minimum to get a workout in. Pre-Covid we had community events at the local center a block up the road. I think the one bedroom apartments offer decent space. I never had a problem with packages, they are usually left at the door or the leasing center. Maintenance is usually very responsive. Pest control visits frequently (I never had any mice/roaches). I did see a grass hooper or two. This is a pet friendly community but requires a small deposit/monthly fee. There is also a park located in back with a playground and scooter field. They offer plenty of leasing options.
Cons: This is a garden style community which means its open access. The buildings are not secured and there is no security protocol. There have been several instances of non-residents hanging in the hallways. People sit in the halls to charge phones and electronic devices. People smoke in the halls. They even meet in the parking lot to hangout and leave trash. W/D unit in the apartments are a little small. The hot water doesnt last very long when you shower.
Overall a decent living experience.. would definitely recommend.

Amie has been wonderful in helping out with adding a new roommate to the lease. She has bent over backwards to help the process be as smooth as possible. Very friendly and professional. Great office staff! 10/10
I absolutely love the layout for the 2 bedroom 2 bathroom. Maintenance is always taken care of promptly and kindly. The do a great job salting the sidewalks and keeping the area safe.
Lots of nice hiking paths within walking distance. Its very quiet around here. Most people are inside or out and about haven't had any loiterers.
No issues with bugs of any kind here except an occasional spider that sneaks in. I live on the bottom floor and the soundproofing is very good (or I just have great upstair neighbors haha) I can barely hear the in unit washer and dryer when I use it too which is a great plus.
Overall I really love living here and look forward to another year (at least) of renting with this great community!

From the first moment I stepped onto the grounds of Huntington Square Apartment homes I was truly impressed with the upkeep, manicure and cleanliness of the property. It is still my absolute favorite places to live. Michal the Property Manager has always maintained an effective standard of professionalism, very knowledgeable and effective in addressing the needs of the tenants, if possible, within 24/48hours. A standard of excellence many Property Managers have tried and failed to meet miserably, based on my personal experience. Michal has a way of making each tenant feel validated, heard even in times yes may not be the answer. She has always extended courtesy with every interaction. Huntington Square is blessed to have Michal representing this company. The staff of Huntington Square are a great reflection of Michals training. Each one of them are attentive, professional, and exceptional at what they do, also provides service with a smile. I lived there for two years and moved into a house that is the only reason Im not still living there. The property is maintained beautifully. The neighbors are quiet and peaceful. Michal has been known to go beyond the call of duty on many occasions always staying within the guidelines/policies and procedures of Huntington Square Apartment Homes. Come check it out for yourself! I highly recommend Huntington Square Apartment Homes with a five out of five stars rating!
