The most important thing you need to know as a future resident is that the soft serve ice cream machine gets turned off at 7pm every day. Nothing worse than coming home to an empty ice cream machine. Stock up the freezer in case of emergency. If ur one minute late, it doesnt matter. 7:01 That machine is OFF. Go to the gym. You will see 2 cream colored boxes connected via pipes on the wall above the treadmills. The cream box to the right has a dead roach behind the pipe above it. His legs are visible. Look closely. Hes been there for months. Nature is amazing. Rest easy lil buddy. (They removed the roach the day after I posted this review, making my workouts lonely) Cambridge has been a lit place to live not gonna lie. Lots of bad reviews but its not bad like people say. Its actually really nice all these other reviewers must be Salty or maybe just used to doin the most. Ive loved living here! RAs are cool and nice. Mine was cool. Looked like chris Pratt. And the RA Joseph marble is the apple of every cambridge residents eye. Word of advice- theres a hall GroupMe. Dont embarrass yourself. The amenities are really nice. Cafe is convenient especially if you learn your way around the grill and salad bar. Endless combos. Like sonic drinks. Grilled cheese is a1. Cant forget the quesadillas. Get the jalapeo ranch on the side Be wary of hairs tho youre bound to get a few stray ones at some point - it happens tho Lots of reviews have addressed the extreme bug epidemic but tbh its not so bad.. happens when people arent living there for the summer months. Not the Cambridges fault. Staff is kind and gets maintence and exterminators to you asap. Youre more likely to be bitten by the unique individuals called hall mates than you are a bug And to address everyone saying that the cambridge hasnt been remodeled idk what they mean. its cute lots of color and nice furniture . Yall expect it to be a 5 Star resort? The ritz Carlton? Its college fam take it easy . I do reccomend living here if youre nervous to be on your own and want a nice cross of dorm and apartment living. Dont have to deal with cooking and providing food for yourself. Only cavemen have to worry about that. Bus route is a big plus too. First stop and pickup. Took me about 2 months to figure out how that worked. Dont bother with a parking pass for a&m unless u have nigt classes bc the bus is faster and easier. Dont take the bus for blinn it takes too long but its aight they have a nice parking lot. Have pepper spray when walking to your car ladies (and men if u weak) U never know when the college creepies are gonna come out to prowl !! (This applies to anywhere u park tho) The gym is good. If youre a gym rat maybe youll be looking for something a little extra, but for any normal person this gym has all the essentials. No excuse for the freshman 15 here! Fitness studio seperate from equipment with a tv Rebecca Louise videos are bomb. Lots of room for Zumba in there too. People will look at you through the windows tho, work hard. They will applaud you(not a joke) The RAs do a lot of events and try v e r y hard to be funny and woke so you should go and appreciate their effort bc we all know the same 5 people go to all of them and there should be more attendance there. Sumo suits and fun meteorology stuff on the facebook. Watch out for traffic on Monday nights! backed up with Greek letters #gogreek Use peppermint essential oil mixed with water in a spray bottle to keep roaches away. Location of Cambridge is nice. Smack dab in the middle of all the important college station stuff. Learn how to get to the side of university that has Texas road house by going the back way (take Dominick past Munson and turn left into some neighborhood)and your life will be easier. Pool is lit. Swam once ever. Tanned 1x so far. Ham-mocked like 3x maybe. Enjoyed the little patch of nature. Make the most of the study rooms bc theyre cute Free printing is a bonus I hope this was helpful and maybe a little bit funny

Truly a unique student living center. This place is nice! They have Free parking here.You wont notice anything extraordinary on the outside tho. We were greeted by very friendly staff. You can tell they take the time to get to know students. There very helpful. I love the giant seats. This place has a very cool vibe. The rooms were the only reason they did not get 5 stars from me. There not apts. There design and functionality are strictly based on a college dorm. Multiple floor designs. Our daughter's room costs around $1,700 a month. Kinda expensive. However it is the perks that might make the cost of living worth the rent. It includes a cafeteria for residents. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. Meals are included in the cost of living. The food here is good and its a buffet style. Residents have several selections to choose from at each meal. They include an impressive coffee and soda bar. Sorry parents the cafeteria will cost you. There is a huge game room. Movie theater. On site security guards. An awesome pool! If you are considering moving here I would definitely recommend it. That's if you can afford it.
