After finally getting to talk with the manager, I am changing my review, I was incorrect about the amount of deposit, and Andrew and I had a discussio0n, and he reminded me that I only spent $199 for the security deposit because of a "Move In Special", instead of the usual $500.
I did not have a good relationship with Ingrid, the manager before Andrew.
It is true that when I moved in, I did not have heat in the apartment for the first week, and on two occasions had the same trouble, because of the age of the heating/hot water system.
Just be aware before you move in, this building was constructed in the 1970's. It is noisy because it is so close to a busy highway, the laundry equipment is quirky, and does not work sometimes.
Andrew does a great job managing there, considering what he has to work with.
My suggestion if you decide to mover there, is insist on talking to Andrew

The entire staff is extremely helpful and friendly. I feel lucky to have found a place to call home where i know i can count on the people working there to do what they day. Stevie is amazing her energy and positivity was super helpful during a stressful move. The apartments themselves are in great shape and everything was move-in ready. Super chill place to reside. I have lived in a few apartments in my day and the office staff was by far the most professional and friendly I have ever experienced. I highly recommend The Nest Community.
