Wentworth Institute Of Technology

Wentworth is a member of the Colleges of Fenway (CoF), which isn’t just simply a title. The school opens up its classes, study abroad opportunities, and even in some instances its dorms to students from nearby schools. As a Wentworth student you will undoubtedly make friends from other schools in the CoF group; because Wentworth is mostly male and schools like Emmanuel and Simmons are mostly or exclusively female, students from each place tend to go out together on the weekends. And because there are so many schools in the area, most people you will see on your everyday commute will be students. It’s very easy here to make friends, both at your school and outside of it. Wentworth does a fantastic job of offering students on-campus opportunities they can participate in to take a break from their studies. Aside from the varsity sports teams, there are also a couple club teams and between five and ten intramural sports leagues each semester. There are also dozens of on-campus groups, ranging from fraternities to engineering organizations to student government. But don’t forget that you will also be in one of the largest cities on the East Coast, and also one of the best cities to be in at your age because of how many colleges are located in the area. You will always be able to find plenty of things to do on the weekend.

Methodology

Each month, using over 1 million Rentable listings across the United States, we calculate the median 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom rent prices by city, state, and nation, and track the month-over-month percent change. To avoid small sample sizes, we restrict the analysis for our reports to cities meeting minimum population and property count thresholds.
