The town grew around Lawrence University, but has since become the home of Fox Valley Technical College as well. Superficially, Appleton may appear to be a smaller Wisconsin town, but it is chock full of great restaurants, bars, and entertainment venues to enjoy. This town values its rich history and has an incredibly active historical society that keeps Appleton looking neat and clean. In addition, Money Magazine listed it as one of the best places to live in America. What more proof do you need? Appleton is a great place to be.

When to Search

Staying in the Know

Lawrence University is well known for their exceptional Conservatory of Music, so never hesitate to walk on over to campus and sit in on one of the concerts!
