Great place to live, i have been here for almost two years and rarely had any issues. I like: -The layout and space of my apartment. -Flexible options to pay your rent online or in person. -Maintenance staff are super friendly and professional and will NEVER enter the apartment without permission, plus they are SUPER quick unless busy. -Even the emergency maintenance line is super fast. -The manager is very nice and professional, as long as you show respect she will help you to the max. -Safe and clean inside out. I dislike: -Parking lots get really full from guests specially on weekends, and some tenants had their broke cars parked in the same spot for more than a year. -A little bit overpriced and they even keep raising the rent every year. Good place to live, under Barnes & Barnes management which takes care of many Student housing options on Eastern Michigan University campus. Maintenance is fast and staff is helpful as well. Very Spacious for the price and good layout with balcony.

RUN!!! The community is under new management and claim that they are going to make the place better. Take the advice from a resident who is getting the heck outta here.. There are floods everyday in our basement that floods our storage units; parking lot is like an off-road safari with its endless potholes. The management team does not understand that fixing cosmetics will not suffice. There is one washer/dryer per every 12-18 units. The electricity to the community will flash on and off for 5-8 seconds once or twice a month (Better turn on auto-save). The community is full of drug dealers, drug addicts and loud families (what a great combo, eh?) The negatives are endless... One positive that I would give Greenway Park Apartments is that it is centrally located next to other communities which will make my move that much easier. Not to mention the price they tried to jab me with to renew.. NO DEAL! They are trying to monopolize the block since they own 2 of the surrounding communities. Leasing and maintenance are a joke, they have had 2 - 3 different office ladies since this past new year.. Something tells me that maybe it is not the office ladies with the problem. I actually really liked living here. Rent was REALLY affordable and the quality was much better than in Ann Arbor. I was able to take the bus every day to school. It's right by a bus stop. The one bedroom apartment I was in was spacious, with three closets. Nice neighbors, too. Lots of school-age kids who get on the bus every morning. Whatever management problems people were complaining about back in 2009 aren't relevant anymore.

I have lived at Greenway Park Apartments from January 2010 to present. The management staff has recently changed to reflect the new owners. To begin the rates are too high for the standard of living. The grounds are only mowed and not landscaped. Meaning that there is no consistency from building to building what unkempt bushes or perhaps agressive weeds you will have next to your balcony. There are many dirt trails throughout the community where there should be sidewalks. Not much fun during the winter. Also if you have a nice car and/or nice belongings this community will have you paranoid. The streets at Greenway has a wide variety of potholes that over the years are only patched not paved. Its this type of sloppy work ethic that you can see in the maintenance of the buildings, streets, sidewalks, apartments, and landscaping. This place is also known for high crime. Drug raids of which one was in my building are a simple fact. Also, while i was on vacation in Miami my door was kicked in. I'm not sure when they noticed but I was gone for 10 days. Luckily nothing was stolen. My neighbor told me that people were fighting in the hallways and accidentally kicked my door in. My thinking at the time was if they did not intend to break in why was my door frame sooo weak. And YES they PATCHED the door frame. Also the word "---" was scribbled into the outside wall next to my door. I told Heather the assistant manager and she said it would be fixed. It never was so i got a police report. As you can see safety is an issue. THE NEW MANAGEMENT IS PAINTED RUST. She had the audacity to tell me that she wouldn't resign my least because of suspicion of drug dealing!!!! I told her that harassing a college educated professional is not the best way to keep a positive community. Especially when the majority of the residents are Latino and some are even illegally cohabiting. She literally has no reason to say such things. DO NOT RISK YOUR SIGNATURE!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT SIGN!!!! Also....Heather the assistant manager is known to be a sexual predator all over the complex. Watch your husband. And oh yeah she's married too!
