The apartments are OKAY. They're expensive but so is everything else in the area. The amenities are all fairly standard and are acceptable. The problem is the maintenance, cleaning, and general lack thereof. I'm including a picture of a broken lamp that has been broken for the last 3 years. It's right next to the path so every day maintenance people walk right past it. And no one ever bothers to do anything about it. It's a fine example of how things are done around here. Things break and no one does anything about it unless a resident specifically complains about it. Even then they might fix it and they might not. As for cleaning? There doesn't appear to really be any. I've seen the same trash on the ground or inside the parking garage for weeks. I see a cleaning lady zip around in her little golf cart but I don't know what she's doing. And partially as a result of this, security is a joke. You can come to this complex on any given day and just walk around pulling on the various gates and one of them will be broken and not secure and you can just walk right in. I've never been afraid of being locked out. The gate nearest me breaks so often I gave up on reporting it. Even if the gates were all working there's areas where the only thing stopping someone getting in is a 6 ft high fence made out of stone that wouldn't slow down a thief for five seconds. I've had two packages stolen. There's a mail room but Amazon Flex drivers aren't given a keyfob to get into the facility after hours so they leave packages in front of the office or other equally unprotected areas. Anyone driving down coming off the exit ramp could look over and see if there's packages sitting outside the office doors. No security camera there. It's an okay place but for over $2,000 a month they could afford to fix stuff when it breaks. They just don't care to.

Excellent location great place to live. A bit pricey. My only gripe besides that is the fact that you have to pay for a parking space thats not even a guaranteed spot. Like basically you pay for having a car but not necessarily a space. its a bit weird and unconventional in my opinion. Other than that staff is nice and amenities are lovely.

I've lived in this apartment complex for 10 months now and am finishing a one year lease. Having signed a new lease for another year, I would recommend this community for those who are looking for a well-placed living arrangement. Mere seconds away from 495, commutes to Maryland are short in the early morning. Also nearby is the Eisenhower Metro Station. As part of my lease renewal process, Ms. Faren May (a leasing consultant) negotiated on my behalf for a monthly rent under current market value; the value of her assistance cannot be overstated. As for the complex itself, I find it to be clean and well maintained. The maintenance staff are professional, knowledgeable, and responsive. I have never waited more than 24 hours for a maintenance request, and have frequently had same-day service. As with all apartments, there are some minor cosmetic blemishes; in my case, scratched outlet covers and some chipped paint. A quick trip to Home Depot and I was able to get a color matched sample and fix it myself. Took less than 2 hours. My only advice is to make sure you ask for new tenant specials. My initial lease had one month of free rent, and it may behoove you to ask what offers are available for a unit you are considering moving in to.
