Laudry rooms lock has been un-repaired for weeks. We keep asking the office( staff & manager) about 5 times to take action, the answers...

Laudry rooms lock has been un-repaired for weeks. We keep asking the office( staff & manager) about 5 times to take action, the answers were were ordering a new one ( are you???). 3 weeks ago, all 3 of our bed sheets were stolen from the dryer. I reported the next day, checked 2 times after that, the answer were She didnt know if the manager had checked on it yet. I asked them to call me. Nothing! 10 days after we lost our rolling laudry basket. Reported to the manager. She told me to go around look for it myself, that I might spot someone using it. I responsed that its a big item, it would be easier for her to look on their cameras. She told me their cameras are in & out. ( wth) whats about our bed sheets I asked I didnt spot anyone she said. you can do your laudry at laudry mat, these are not commercials she also said ( omg) What do you think? Instead of taking responsibility for not fixing the lock, which leads to our stuffs stolen, told me to go around look for our stuffs. What a joke, especially when a property manager told you that. The lock stays unfixed till now. Please take action managerment. This is something you can control. 2016 our Honda Accord had been stolen from the parking lot in day time.

These people don't care if you have an extreme and rare cancer condition and need to relocate for life saving treatment as long as they get their money. Even though we changed apts due to cockroaches, dealt with cigarette smoke threw our vent's daily, had our bathroom flooded twice to the upstairs neighbor, and they replaced our refrigerator 3 times before I actually got a clean refrigerator that didn't have black mold or dead maggots! I have photos of all of this! Yet they want money for breaking our lease even though we tried explaining to them my spouses urgent care and now new financial issues due to medical bills and treatment and offered to give documentation from the doctor. I am now having consultations with legal agencies just for advice, possibly more, to not have my family be discriminated against again.

The 2 bedrooms are very nicely spaced with your own bathroom and walk in closet . I love the grounds the most though with alot of trees and places for BBQ outside and lots of grass . # 2063

Wonderful place to live, quiet community clean and friendly neighbors. Whenever I need something fixed its done promptly and the office staff is always courteous and nice. Ive lived in several different apartment communities and this one is by far my favorite. Even though its on a busy street you hardly hear any noise at the apartments and the fully gated access makes me feel comfortable.

My name is Ron Miller and I reside in Apartment at the Whispering Sands Apartment Complex; I moved here 05 31 2016. I looked at 50+ apartment complexes prior to making my selection; I found an apartment with an additional bedroom which I use as an office with a second bathroom. I compared location, square footage, costs (rent, utilities, amenities, etc.) when making my selection and same satisfies my living and work needs well. Marlene Jones has complimented this complex very well, friendly, knows the business from top to bottom, "people friendly", extremely organized, values residents, and, has the desire to accommodate those looking for a new home as well as current residents. She possess "ownership" which I greatly appreciate serving in a large Corp environment. Her qualities trickle-down to others working at the complex additionally. Dom (maintenance) as well as Summer and Messe (office) are complimenting the business model and business plan well. And, I have not forgotten Wilfredo and Joe who conduct maintenance work. Marlene is smart, doesn't possess an attitude, realistic and fair conducting business. I consider Marlene the "exception" not only as an astute Complex Director, however, an integral factor included in my ongoing healthcare plan; my health is deemed "poor" and declining. I depend on Marlene and the other staff members every morning when I wake and begin another day. She has brought-on-board for residences the monthly calendar which depicts lots of data for a broad spectrum of clientele, young and old as an underlined message of "we appreciate you". There has been a number of community get together s at the office which remind residents "we are a community". Most recently she and staffers hosted an evening Christmas Dinner which reflected, "Merry Christmas folks, we appreciate having you as members of our Whispering Sands Community". Lots of man-hours, planning, expense and "doing" for so many staff members demonstrating appreciation to/for community residences, and, a "we are all together". The appetizing buffet including desserts was really great, and I particularly enjoyed all of the Santa's during off-time hours"! I believe her intentions are to bring residents and staff members together; and, your continued patronage is valued, and, send us a referral when you can. She and all staffers play an important role as marketers, marketing quality and service. Those are only a couple of examples Marlene has contributed. So if any of you folks out there are looking for a new home....stop by 12720 Central Ave SE, check-out our gated neighborhood. You probably will be intrigued with what you see and learn. Bums are always digging in the trash knocking on doors asking for stuff they get in the holes in the fence definitely not a gated or safe community Staff in front office lost my cashier's check for rent. when things need to get fixed it takes a month for it to get fixed. Loud at night and gunshots are heard continually the pool is almost never open except for a week in the summer and the hot tub is non-existent Someone had tried to break into my apartment even though we supposedly have security . the place is definitely infested with bugs even though they claim to spray once a month ( not only my apartment but also my 3 friends who live on opposite sides of the complex . oh and the online rent portal doesn't work and never has. Also the apartment is not wind proof at all the windows whistle when It gets windy huge crack in between door frame and door. carpents where old worn out and frayed when I moved in with unpainted patches on the wall

I've lived here for 5 years. I've been very comfortable in my surroundings and if I have a problem I go to the management and they take care of it right away. The maintenance is very professional as well as the management. I have personally meet the owners and they themselves have told me if you have any questions or concerns to feel free and give us a call. It's a nice place to live. Good people and well taken care of. So come join us at Whispering Sands.

My fianc lives here as well as a friend of mine, and I visit them a couple of times a week, and stay with my fianc most weekends, and even though I've personally never had any problems or issues with anyone, my fianc has. (We live separate rt now.) I would recommend this complex to my family and/or friends. Complex is always neat and clean, the employees I've ran into have been polite and the units are pretty nice.

Not a safe place for families. Definitely a crack motel. All day and night you hear people fighting , screwing , yelling at kids...

I just moved in and couldn't be happier with the decision to make whispering sands my home...the neighbors are great and the entire staff is very friendly and professional. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for their future home!

The grounds are beautiful, especially as you watch the seasons come and go, and you can feed the birds or garden on your porch....

The grounds are beautiful, especially as you watch the seasons come and go, and you can feed the birds or garden on your porch. The buildings themselves are kind of old, but constantly being improved, every building got new roofing and a lot of the swamp coolers were replaced this year. Management is great, Marlean and Hope are super nice and very responsive to our needs. Maintenance is generally prompt and polite. It's a gated community with overnight security; this isn't a great neighborhood, but we don't see a lot of crime in this complex. The rents are very reasonable, and they accept Section 8 vouchers, but make sure exactly what your portion is, because billing sometimes gets messed up with the parent company (FPI Management). Make sure you have renter's insurance! Like I said, the buildings are a bit old, and this May we had a flood, but within a week we were back to 95% normal. Finally, the front office frequently throws parties for the community, or holds contests for stuff like State Fair tickets, and has referral incentives. They also have a pool, hot tub, modest fitness room, and business center, and on-site laundry. I really like it here and plan to stay for a long time.

I have lived at the Whispering Sands Apartments for roughly 5 months. I can't say that I have ran into any major issues at all. The office staff are 3 great ladies who are always willing to come to a solution for any concern or complaint you may have. The maintenance staff are really friendly as well. All the staff, in general, are extremely easy to talk to. My neighbors have been super friendly since the day I moved in. When I see other residents at the office, mailboxes, exercise room or at a special gathering that the office is having, they have always been friendly as well.
