Came here to donate some clothes and home goods. One of the employees was outside was smoking a cigarette and literally rolled her eyes as i drove up. Then she stomped out her cigarette, came up to me and rudely started listing all the items they do not accept before I could even open my mouth. She then proceeds to eyeball the items in my car and point at things she would not take. She even threw, what I considered a nice basket in the trash, because she didn't want was inside. So much attitude when I'm simply donating items at a donation center. I grabbed all my stuff and took them down the street to the Goowill with no problem. Guess I know where I'll be donating to from now on.

I have donated a large amount of goods to the Salvation Army over the past couple weeks as Im moving. I called to see if they could possibly come pick up the rest of the stuff I have as its multiple car loads even for my suv. The guy I just spoke to was incredibly rude and demeaning. Will not be donating my stuff here now.

The only things I've seen here in 5 years are dishes, utensils and really just items for older women. The staff are okay but will follow you around the store like you're thieving. It's really awkward. Also, the prices are similar to a regular retail outlet, why pay $15 for a shirt that is $18 New?
I found the personnel there not to be helpful, in fact one lady I felt was rude! I think they are to expensive for what they are.
I love the side drop off system here. I was able to donate stuff and leave in no time.

Good deals. Sorry more people don't donate to the Salvation Army. Their stores are so much neater and easier to shop. I have been told that Goodwill actually only donates a small %age of its net sales. I think many people may forget about the Salvation Army as a donation destination. The only negative is the low amount of inventory.
