Students at SLCCFP can buy a student semester pass through Metro Transit that will give them access to all of the city’s public transportation routes for a cheap price. I would recommend this to any off campus student who will be using either the bus or train to get to SLCCFP. There are several bus stops within walking distance of the campus, and two rail stations (Central West End and Forest Park). For any student who doesn’t have a car, they’ll be glad to know that public transit is a perfectly viable way to get to SLCCFP. The park that SLCCFP gets its name from, Forest Park, is footsteps north of the school’s campus. This is one of the most well-known and, in my opinion, the best park in St. Louis and its suburbs. It’s not just aesthetically pleasing and a welcome break from the city’s bustle, but also houses some of the best attractions in the area, like the St. Louis Zoo, the St. Louis Science Center, the St. Louis Art Museum, and the World’s Fair Pavilion. SLCCFP students spend a lot of time in the park, so much so that it’s practically an extension of their campus.

Each month, using over 1 million Rentable listings across the United States, we calculate the median 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom rent prices by city, state, and nation, and track the month-over-month percent change. To avoid small sample sizes, we restrict the analysis for our reports to cities meeting minimum population and property count thresholds.
