The building is quiet, secure and there are only 15 apartments so not too many people in the building. It is a 60's motel style building and most units have floor to ceiling windows across the whole front. We have a cool courtyard with bamboo, trees and a water feature. So all of the units have a pretty nice view from the main living area. The units were updated with wood floors throughout and nice lighting in the kitchen area. Our bedroom is huge! We have a king size bed with plenty of room around it. There are also two big closets in the bedroom, which is great. The only downfall are the old, coin operated washers and dryers. There are only two of each and if the coin boxes get full, the machines eat your quarters. The apartments also have independent water heaters that only hold 30 gallons. The water pressure is great, but we can't take two full showers one right after the other or else the second one gets cold toward the end. We just take slightly shorter showers and it is fine. The owner worked with the utility company to install energy saving lightbulbs and water faucets at no cost to residents. That has really helped with the hot water supply and shared monthly utility bill.
