This was never a very successful mall when malls were still popular and it hasn't improved in recent years. Dillard's department store is the only traditional anchor store left and a number of other name brand stores have closed. It does have a Bass Pro shop and a Target store there. It also has three second hand/antique stores and a piano store in the mall. It also has a carousel for children which Savannah's other mall does not have. Finally, I should mention that this past Christmas there was a gift wrapping service available with money raised going to charity. For typical mall stores this is not the mall to visit although those who like antiquing will find this a paradise.

With multiple storefronts currently shuttered, this mall appears to be struggling. Target and Bass Pro Shops generate a fair amount of foot traffic, but both stores are easily accessible from the outside, so shoppers have no real reason to venture into the mall proper. That said, Savannah Mall is trying to re-invent itself as a multipurpose facility. Virginia College has a satellite location with a culinary school on the lower level, and the upper level features an indoor playground and mini-golf course called Treehouse Adventures. Time will tell if this is a viable strategy for this mall.

I love going to Target on the south side of Savannah, GA. There is a pharmacist that has been working there for 11 years, his name is Chad. He saw me in Pooler GA at a store that I was shopping in with my back turned to him. He knew who I was before I even turned around and saw him. The really cool thing is that I switched from his pharmacy to one closer to my house about 4 years ago. I rarely ever make it to the rest of the mall because what I need I can find. Not just that but I save so much between the cartwheel app, the coupons, and the gift cards you can get back for buying things you need to buy anyway. All the coupons, etc can be applied just scanning your phone.

Was expecting more outta this mall. I was told the had a target and bass pro shop and some other cool stuff. But honestly that was about it other then the indoor mini golf/ jungle course and a few small other things like Spencer's and game stop. Your typical mall stores this place was dead. Many closed stored and I few Nick nack kinda stores. I mean like vintage antique type consignment shops things I would expect too find in a up to date mall. Even the food court seemed just dead. Really wish i had had a better experience went in hoping and kinda just disappointed. Hope they park up the place really kinda reminded me of the malls I went to as a kid. Just wish it was more alive

Unfortunately the mall is dying. They aren't getting enough business. I love a.c.moore. they are wonderful for the art student and hobbyist alike. A decent food court with options. Target, Burlington, Spencer's, bass pro shop, etc. It's great because it isn't over crowded but still had plenty of shopping options.

But that aside, its got Target, good food court, its a great place to take young ones with the tree house playground (costs to get in, bring socks) and they have Texas Roadhouse and a few other big names in the mall. Parking is always available.

This mall was nice when it opened in 1990. Since downtown Savannah has been revitalized with more upscale shops and sidewalk cafe's the people that used to shop at the Savannah Mall don't do so. The Oglethorpe Mall, which is about a 2 miles north of Savannah Mall is larger and has more stores. Overall, I still like the Savannah Mall, but it's only a place to shop to avoid crowds. The anchor stores don't entice you to go into the mall itself. Target, Dillard's and Pro Bass Shops.

The mall itself is a virtual ghost town. Stores are vacant and there is very little to choose from. Bass Pro Shop is a place that I do not care for. Twice I have tried to purchase a knife and the young guy at the counter is not only rude but very hateful. My daughter was excited to be shopping for her grandfather, she is special needs, and he was awful to her. She cried on the way out. We just left. Will NEVER go there again. Burlington coat factory has nice things if you are willing to dig for stuff. Got 2 GREAT deals on very nice coats. Their staff has always been polite and helpful. Food court is a ghost town too but the Sarkku is excellent with friendly staff. Chic fil A is gone now too. Virginia College is located at this mall but has a bad reputation for being a scam.

It was the bright lights and the "magical" atmosphere that drew me and made me say " I want to do Christmas in Savannah"........at the Savannah Mall.

I really like the Savannah Mall despite its struggle to stay afloat. Still have some great stores, and a great food court. With two floors this is a great place to walk indoors to stay out of the summer heat. A great place to meet up for lunch and dinner with the restaurants that are located there as well. Also a good place to potentially rent space for church meetings and other events.

For patrons who have children, there is a soft indoor playground on the first floor and a double decker carousel on the second floor. For a tasty treat, be sure to visit Cold Stone and for lunch or dinner stop by Texas Roadhouse.
