I've lived here for 4 months now and really enjoy it. Great location in a good neighborhood. Quiet complex with plenty of nice green space to walk the pupper. Only issue was with washer overflowing due to clogged pipe upon move in. Had to call maintenance on 2 separate occasions to fix. We'll see if it's a recurring issue. Staff is friendly and helpful.

The complex is great! Never had any real big issues that would cause me to give a negative review. The Assistant Manager (Jessica) and Manager (Christina) were on point when it came to any issues that came up. They (issues) were corrected within hours or next day and I always got a follow-up call to ensure my concerns were addressed. The complex was kept clean and if I had any packages left at the office I would always get a notification by a note left in the mail box or on my door, sometimes both. :-)
I really didn't want to leave but my job is transferring me to another state. If and when I come back and the staff is the same I will most definitely come back. Wish CWS was in the city and state I am moving to. The staff was always ready to answer any questions I had and when time came to do an early-move out they were super nice and explained everything to ensure I understood it 100%. Thank you for allowing us to call Marquis at Deerfield home.

Terribly managed. All the staff here is extremely rude and have very poor manners. Jessica is the rudest of them all. Maintenance is a joke, they take forever to respond and do a half job. The property used to be luxury, but it's becoming more trashed out every day. You don't really know what the place is like until you sign your name to a lease. We rented here for six months while building a home. I thought it would be an adjustment, after living in a house for 25 years, but I couldn't have bveen more pleased with the experience. Even though this is a large complex, Valarie and Jessica know me by name when I go to the office. They are professional and courteous. The apartment is in good shape, the grounds are beautiful and quiet. The maintenance crew are quick to respond if service is needed. The pools are in pristine condition and rarely crowded.People are courteous to one another. All in all, this has been a great place to begin our new life in San Antonio.

Staff were VERY polite, courteous, and responsive (Jessica R. and Valerie). I had originally applied somewhere else but needed to move in within a day or two. The other location called me back four days after my original inquiry. After applying to Deerfield I received a call within 30 minutes and they had a room available.
Once I moved in the apartment itself was very nice. The courtyard is beautiful and covered in trees. The pool is fantastic and well maintained. The elementary school for this area is exceptional as well.
HIGHLY recommend this apartment complex. Will update if anything changes.

My family lives here. Very unfriendly, stuck up, and rude office management! When you're prospecting the place, they are the friendliest, but once they have you secured on paper, it all changes! They don't want to see you, and they don't want you coming in for anything, but they are very quick to try to ding you with lease violations for any little thing. They treat tenants like it is a privilege to be here when all tenants pay overpriced rates to live here. The complex looks a little above average at first, but then you begin noticing little things here and there that makes you soon regret. It isn't the ghetto, but it's overpriced for how dated it is. Literally the nicest and most modernized place in the entire complex is the club house where the above mentioned employees work. We will be moving up to a much better option as soon as our lease is up!

I have many wonderful memories in the apartment that I rented. But the administration was not at all helpful when I moved out. They did not give me a fair idea that I would have to pay my rent for remaining months on my lease (6 months!) and I have now ended up paying the rent for this apartment and my current apartment. Because I did not have a fair idea, I couldnt plan better and ended up deep in debt.

I've never experienced such lifeless Corporate treatment wrought in absence of any integrity or honor. It's absolutely shocking. Zero. I'm certain they've abused the word "luxury" here or simply have no clue what it means.
Reside where they know your name, not just your bank account number. Reside where they do not talk smack about the tenants, or have unrightfully inflated Ego's.
These women need to learn that Customers, paying Customers, are why they can Vacay so frequently.

The deal killer was that they want you to give them permission to go into your account every month, type in the amount you owe, and pull it out of your account. Paying my rent electronically on time every month for 13 years is no longer good enough. A bad policy and a very bad idea to agree to this. I moved and am much happier. Don't walk, RUN from this one.
