I love the gated parking garage, layout of the apartment, and quietness of my neighbors. This is a great place to live.
nice apts there is just no parking(there is an under the building parking garage but it is full)

I left a 1 star review on my other Google account. Can't see it on here from this account. Wonder if they deleted it? Anyways management lied to me and said because my roommate wanted to stay for another year, I would still be held responsible for rent because my name is on the old lease. That is a lie and against the law. They were trying to force me into signing a new lease and hold me accountable even if I didn't sign. I had to call 3 lawyers and corporate before the manager did anything to take my name off the new lease.

I've been living at axis for a year and just renewed my lease to stay. We love it here! This place is perfect for young adults. We love the location, its perfect for our lifestyles. We are super close to the freeways (literally a block) and also walking distance to the TRAX. Our apartment is in the corner of the building so I have huge beautiful windows outlooking the mountains and downtown Salt Lake. We have a modern kitchen with hard wood floors. Were always getting compliments on the appearance of the place! Also, the management here is rad. Leslie is always so kind and doing everything she can to accommodate and help us. Management is also not up in our business which is nice! Only here when we need them, and maintenance is super nice as well and always on top of it and here when you need him. The building itself does have quite a few problems, we had this leak in our kitchen for a few weeks in the winter but as soon as they figured out what was wrong they were awesome to come and fix all the damage. like I said the maintenance is on top of it here and will always be here so the building issues are never a nuisance. I never leave reviews but I really do love it here and would recommend it to any young adults wanting to live downtown.

I really, really regret signing a lease here. Between all the insane security issues (my boyfriend was basically acting as the building's de-facto security guard for 2 particularly bad months), problems in our apt that haven't been fixed, mysterious "underpaid utility" notices, and now being threatened with eviction after being FOUR DAYS late on rent (we have never been even a day late before..boyfriend lost his job) ...these folks run this place for the express purpose of squeezing as much cash as possible out of you. I understand folks have to keep shareholders happy but damn, that's cold. Don't worry axis, we paid today plus almost 100$ for being late... Can't wait to move out and let some other poor sucker enjoy this over-priced and under-delivering establishment in our stead.

This building is horribly managed. Work orders for repairs have gone unaddressed for 4 months. The cheap kitchen cabinets are falling apart. The walls and ceiling have no noise dampening. You can easily hear the TV and music of your neighbors. The sounds of foot steps from the apartment above you is nerve racking. Do yourself a favor and live somewhere else.

I'm not sure if the management really cares about our safety. My storage unit was broken into for the second time. I found out about the first one a week after my neighbor had his broken into. It seems like the manager knew about the break in's but never told anyone in the community. He has also never owned up to anything that he could have prevented or taken care of in a timely manner.
