Known to those of us who love the property as the Church Building, the 320 South 4th Street structure is a great example of vernacular architecture. It was built around 1845 and was a Lutheran Parish, but it also has strong ties to the Quaker Free Labor movement. Now it has been revived again as one of the prettiest sets of apartments in Wayne county. The upper floor boasts ten-foot tall windows, tall sharply sloped ceilings, and an open floor plan that makes you feel as if you are in a loft overlooking the Hudson. The building is impossible to miss, on one of the safest streets in Richmond, and will be the talk of all of your friends no matter which unit appeals to you.
