My husband and I lived here for 13 months and I loved it. We lived in the retail building which had an elevator! There was also a trash room in the building and offered recycling. Maintenance requests were always handled within 24 hours. The staff was nice and they never seemed to be short staffed. I never heard my neighbors but we were on the top floor. It was really a nice place to live. I have few complaints. The size of our apartment. I couldn't even fit a full size couch and forget about a dining area. There is no storage closet at all. No where to stick simple things like a vacuum or things like that. I put my clothes steamer in the closet with the water heater and they locked the door to that when they changed the filter. That was a little annoying because I feel like I should have access to that anyway. They locked it because they saw I used it for a little storage. Which was rather rude to me. They didn't even take my stuff out when they locked me out of it. Also some days there are parties at the pool. It's obvious that not all of the 40 drunk loud people live there. I even saw someone throw up in the pool. So the pool wasn't enjoyable sometimes. We have an electric car but it was hard to charge because parking is limited and people would park at the charging spots. Which that happens everywhere it seems like. The goods far outweigh the bad. We probably would have stayed if they didn't raise the already high rent when it came time to renew the lease. All in all I would recommend this place!

My roommate and I fell in love with this complex as soon as we toured it last summer. Its in the perfect location, safe, and beautiful. Having 2 pools and 2 gyms is very nice. Although the gates can be a bit much sometimes, they definitely make us feel safe. The staff and maintenance are very courteous and helpful, they were part of the reason we loved the place. The apartments are everything that the pictures show and super spacious. Weve had some issues with our appliances but they always responded to our requests and came out within 24hrs.
We live on the first floor and rarely have issues with noise. The most bothering noises come from the high school kids (they like to yell and honk from 6am-8am) that park outside my window but a box fan solved it for me.
Although I love it I am looking for another place due to the price, which isnt unreasonable but Id like to spend my money on other things.
I mainly recommend this place to any young professionals who have the money to spend!

The apartments look nice on the outside, but they are not built well. Im on my second year of living here and all we hear is our new neighbors above us. We are woken up nearly every weekend in the middle of the night to a dog barking, stomping, or loud boom sounds from above us. Ive brought this up with the office, but nothing has changed. I would not recommend living here if you want a quality place to live with good sound proofing. Ive lived in several apartments and this is easily the loudest one Ive experienced.

Nice Apartments in Phase 2 and they have great amenities. Please keep in mind that the floors are super thin though. You will hear EVERY single footstep of the neighbor above you, if you live in a 1st or 2nd floor apartments. Also, there are over 1,000 residents that live here and only 30 visitor parking spaces. This is awful considering that they enforce towing, so I can rarely have guests over. I wish I would have known this before I moved. I definitely won't be re-leasing!

A clean, safe, and fun community to live in! Post keeps the grounds very clean and the landscaping is always fresh. Maintenance orders are completed in a very timely manner and the office staff is very friendly. Lived here for over a year and couldn't be happier with the location, staff, amenities and state of the apartment. It is 10 minutes from downtown, North Hills and Brier Creek and is the nicest looking apartment when compared to all of my friends (many of whom pay a lot more than I do). Post Parkside is great and is becoming even better with all of the new restaurants and bars opening up close by.

A fantastic place to live - centrally located, great amenities, all at a great price. I moved into Phase 2 (the newer portion) in May 2017, and have had nothing but positive experiences. Any maintenance work has been completed very quickly, and the package concierge gives peace of mind that no packages will go missing. They also have great community events - as a newbie to Raleigh, these have been a great way to network and try new things (personal favorite was a wine and cupcake pairing - complimentary!) Overall, very glad to have found Post, and I have no plans on leaving anytime soon!

I LOVE living here!!! I moved into one of the new buildings back in October of 2016. I could not be more satisfied. I moved to Raleigh not knowing a single soul but this community has made it a breeze. I fell in love with the residence as soon as I toured, the ceilings are high so having a one bedroom feels a lot less small. I love the granite counter tops and the flooring. My cabinet space is amazing and I feel safe and cozy where I am. I live on the third(top) floor and would not have it any other way. The noise from other units is not too bad and if a complaint needs to be made the leasing office handles it. The staff in the leasing office are amazing. I am very satisfied with this complex and could not be more happy with where I am! I renewed for another year, sadly my rent went up $125 a month.

Really regretful that I signed a lease here. In April my air conditioning broke and it was "fixed" several times where it would work for a day and then I'd wake up to it being 85+ degrees in my apartment. I dealt with that for over a month before they replaced the unit, after I said that I would move out and withhold rent on top of providing pictures of the thermostat at 87 degrees at 8am!! Now it's September and my air conditioning is broken again. Despite that my apartment was basically inhabitable for over a month - I had to constantly stay on top of the leasing office for them to merely grant me partial reimbursement for my electric bill when it spiked dramatically due to the AC issues (avg. 60-80/mo up to $135). They never tried to remedy the situation at all and although I didn't ask them for anything- it would have clearly been a waste of time considering I couldn't get answers from them via email in regards to the status of my AC unit. I had to go to the office and continually call to get anything fixed. I've never had so many issues with an apartment which says a lot considering I lived in cheap student housing for 5 years. I can not wait until my lease here is over.

Very nice complex with some flaws, but overall good bang for your buck.
I'm leaving three stars for a few reasons, number one is that everyone who lives here seems to be a freshman in college. Loud parties every weekend and don't ever expect to park anywhere near your apartment due to residents' friends taking up the spaces nearby.
Another issue is the garbage. Residents pay an $8 trash fee only for the dumpsters to be on the opposite side of the property, so the only way to throw out the trash is to transport it in your vehicle which can be very unsanitary and smelly.
Noise is often an issue - as I mentioned the parties previously - as well as from dogs. The walls are extremely thin, as well as the ceilings and floors. You can hear each neighbor around you very clearly, from walking on the floor above, or playing music from below, or dogs barking on either side.
Those are generally the negatives of Post Parkside at Wade, however there are some positives. The interior decor of the apartment is flawless, from the cabinetry to the granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. The colors blend very well with the large windows and nice natural lighting. Also their stacked washer and dryers are VERY NICE! I was skeptical about whether or not they would compare to the previous full-size washer and dryer I had been using, and they definitely do!
Another great factor is the price, which is significantly lower than all apartments in the Raleigh area - for the quality of the apartment in general. Everything looks beautiful as far as the interior goes, and for a similar style apartment in the Raleigh area, you can expect to pay $1200-$1500 per month. The prices here are much lower but of course they vary depending on the size and things like that.
Another thing that is a little nit-picky but might be worth mentioning is that there are no tv or internet packages/bundles when you sign a lease here. Everything is separate for you to do on your own. Which isn't horrible, but most apartment complexes offer this now. I'm actually not upset that I wasn't given this option because it saves money in the long run if you're okay with not having cable, but it's worth mentioning. However they do have a wonderful rep from AT&T U-Verse that will work with you to find the best speeds for the price as far as internet goes.
Overall I'd say Post needs to fix the parking issues - maybe require residents to use permits or stickers on their windshields and have a specific lot designated for guests. Also, they definitely need to either have a valet waste opportunity set up for residents to pay a little more for their trash to be picked up or eliminate the $8 trash fee altogether.

I love my little apartment, its so cute and it fits me. I just signed another lease, yes, it's a little pricey but Im happy and comfortable here. The property is well kept, no problems with neighbors, and the staff is very nice and understanding, I have not had any issues and I been here for a year. The only thing is the parking. I was one of the 1st to move in when there was always parking, now, the property is completely filled and parking can be a headache. Oh, and last but not least, there are NO water bugs. Im scared of them and hate them and Amanda assured me there were none on the property when she showed me the apartment, and that is completely true, not one water bugs, I barely see any bugs, thank God. I would recommend living here to anyone

Make sure you note if the carpet is not brand new on your move in sheet! If you don't, they will charge you $200 at move out because they replace the entire carpet since they don't do partial replacements (kinda crazy considering that carpet is plain light beige....). I know we had tenants living prior on our carpet, yet we had to take the blow for it. It was obvious as there were indents in the carpet at our move in that we weren't the first to live on it. Hate to start rumors but I would like to think that the carpet gets changed out routinely (given its plain beige) and when possible- its at a tenants expense. Had I known we'd be charged an entire replacement I absolutely would have noted that- so I hope that tip helps someone!
A big reason for my 1 star is due to a poorly handled situation by management. My unit was WITHOUT power for 4 days before management did something about it!!! I complained multiple times(4+) followed by 2 additional requests asking them to compensate me for the inconvenience. Our power was also surging- actually was scary and my roommate and I could not stay there given the odd noises and lack of understanding of what was happening. Maintenance did their best to help when they got in there, but it took a few tries. It's one thing for them to not agree to compensation- but it's another to actually just be ignored by management all together. Their management seems nice so I was disappointed for their lack of acknowledgment in our situation. Hence why I'm taking the time to write a review!
Oh and that gate rarely works :( I will however still give a star because they do a fantastic job with landscaping!

I would give Post Parkside at Wade a 5/5 but there are a few things about living here that bother me. For one, the parking in Phase 2 is pretty horrible. There just aren't enough parking spots for how many residents live here and because of that people are frequently parking illegally on curbs or in handicaps spots just to be close to their building. If you get into the gate after 9pm you will likely have to park a few hundred feet away from your unit or even outside of the gate which kind of defeats the purpose of having the gate in the first place. Very annoying.
The other thing that bothers me is getting packages; because of the added complexity of having a gate at the front of the entrance, I have often had FedEx packages get sent to the Raleigh Bermuda Triangle as incompetent FedEx delivery men and women who are too busy playing Angry Birds while driving seem completely incapable of using a 10 digit keypad to open a gate to get in for delivery. I mean, I get it, numbers can be hard these days, but still not a good excuse.
Overall I rate this place a 3/5 because of these major inconveniences to my lifestyle.

The most convenient location to get to Cary/Morrisville, the RDU Airport, Inner Belt line, Downtown Raleigh, and so much more. The second phase of the community looks to be really impressive and will have something to offer all residents. Maura Turnley in the Leasing Office did a great job of presenting the neighborhood and exciting developments of the community. I can't wait to see this area once the new Phase is completed.

Office was shady, did not provide accurate information for transition and gave the sublessee (who I found myself) the pro-rated rent that was supposed to be returned to me when I moved out in the middle of the month. Took almost 2 months to get back that rent and oh, forget about getting the deposit back. Even if the sublessee puts one down. Unprofessional.

We love Post Apartments at Wade! We moved into one of the brand-new buildings in June and it has been a dream! The staff is friendly, fast to respond, and genuinely kind. They are always checking in on us and respond to our requests with no grumbling! The grounds are clean anddespite the constructionits very quiet! There are tons of amenities, but I hardly ever want to leave my apartment with LAMINATE FLOORS THAT I LOVE! Very modern look, lovely home. I would definitely recommend this location to others and will thoroughly enjoy my stay here.
