I simply love living here on Drucker and faulk property at Pine Winds Apartments. I had a frightening moment of a grease fire to happen to me. The apartment management assist with replacing my stove almost immediately. I thought at first after I was looking at the disaster that had happened that this was going to take a very long time. I was surprised and I was pleased to know that the management and maintenance jump right on my situation right after I filed my claim with rentals insurance everything just simply fell into place which made it so much easier for myself being a single mom. I have been here 3 years as of August going on four years. The place is very quiet for me, I love the environment the people in the office are very pleasant respectable attitudes to my self and my daughter. I have and I will continue recommending Pine Winds Apartments to friends and family if need to. I want to thank all the people that was involved in putting my apartment back together for living conditions due to my grease fire, I want to thank you for such a speedy recovery. I have not had any difficulties living here for the past 3 years or any person that is employed under Drucker and fault I have had nothing but Pleasant attitudes towards myself and my daughter I want to thank you so much for making this a great place to live. I have notice some reservation improvements that are going on around the property which looks great by the way and I'm sure they're going to do a great job just like always people just have to be patient no one in this world is perfect except for ... God....... and just like any business you cannot please everyone. I am looking forward to spending another year here in this wonderful quiet place. PS. If the owner is reading this I think the staff that he has here now is a wonderful group of people.

3 WORDS . BED BUG INFESTATION!!!!! . My girlfriend lives here and thought it was just a problem with who she lived with, WRONG. nonetheless than 2 months after she moved here there was bed bugs in all the rooms. come to find out its also the whole building ! and the one connected on the other side. People who talk about it end up getting charged extra or even kicked out when its a maintenance building problem. Someone should seriously sue this place.

NO NO NO. Bugs galore! Cockroaches the size of mice, and spiders! I have lived here for 4 years, and the bugs are always horrible (even on the 3rd floor!) In the 4 years I have lived here, they raise the rent by about $50 every year (and do not make any upgrades). My car got broken into in the parking lot last year. And the hallways leading up to the apartments are GROSS. Dirt, cobwebs, trash everywhere you look. The only reason I have stayed here so long is the convenience as it is a good location, but I can't wait to leave!
*note- the staff here are always very nice and helpful, which is probably the only good thing about this place. But it's definitely not worth it!

The corridors leading up to the apartment is nasty and smelly. The apartments need renovations. Not work the money they are charging.

Quiet living in the middle of everything. Everything is so close, but it's so quiet and peaceful you would never know it

If you don't like kids noise I will suggest moving to an elderly retiring community. As far as walking out in the morning and having rain water all over the place. Well. It is hard to control the weather. I think that is beyond the office control. Perhaps a pray to God. Maintanence has been nothing but great to me. Only 3 issue during move in. Minor issues and they were addessed right away. Hell one even gave me a jump on my car lol. The office stuff is wonderful. Nothing but helpful. Yes the apartment complex might not be the newest one and most updated apartment but is clean and nice. You were giving a chance to see a unit before you decide to sign a lease.

I have tripped multiple times over the broken concrete. The electrical systems in the buildings have way works some times. They half ass repairs. Maintenance tells you stuff is fixed and it isnt. One day late on rent the staff send threatening letters to you. They dont notify you of packages being delivered. If you dont go check you will never know you have them. They have multiple water issues they wont fix so walking out in the morning on a rainy day you have to walk through natural areas to get to your car. The apartment i moved into hadnt been cleaned. The cabinets are falling apart. The counters are cut all up and they still ask as much as a new apartment. The carpet on my porch was coming apart when I moved in. I wont be renewing a lease here. Since I have been here the cops have been here at least 6 or 7 times due to fights or incidents with kids in the community. My vehicles have been hit in the parking lot and no one owned up to it. Speaking to the police while doing a hit and run report the officer told me of drugs being sold through out the apartment complex. Gangs have been a problem. Evictions are a constant occurents. Wish i never rented in this apartment complex. I have since moved out because of the issue.

The staff are courteous, the rent is reasonable if you get a special (I got a 2 BR for 775). Other places in the area offer the same for a studio.
The best thing about this place is the maintenance. I had a lot of things fall apart on me. First it was my disposal, then my oven wouldn't work, then a water heater burst outside. The maintenance staff was ON IT! I got a new stove in a little over a week, my disposal was fixed within a few days, and the staff fixed my heater.
The only reason I'm not coming back is because it's a little out of my price range, but otherwise it's a flawless experience.
Update! I moved away to take a job and boy do I miss this place. You are not going to find a better staff or a better apartment many places in the triangle for a comparable price. Wish I could go back!

We've been here almost a year and just renewed our lease for another year. The new management has really stepped it up within the past few months. They are taking the initiative to improve every aspect of the community. They have just remodeled the clubhouse and it looks wonderful! The new staff is friendlier than ever and is always quick to fulfill any of your needs. Hawthorne management at Pine Winds is doing a great job and I hope they keep it up.
