I want to really highlight and stress the fact that Leila, the leasing consultant is the glue that holds Bayside Village Apartments together. She is a very attentive, honest, reliable, and transparent individual who cant be acknowledged enough as being the BEST example of what the leasing consultants should be. Her hard work and dedication to the residents who live their should be commended. She always goes the extra mile and even called me a few times to alert me when packages arrived in the office. Also want to acknowledge the new maintenance guy, Skip. He is amazingly attentive, highly effective and more importantly efficient. Issues were resolved timely, and he was always giving adequate time lines for repairs. He has been such a breath of fresh air for the maintenance department. I honestly hope he is always the guy making the repairs when I request them. He is the go to guy for all issues, and always has a smile when he arrives!

They make it out to be a great place, but will drag their feet if you have any issues. Asked them to fix something for me and it took them two weeks to come to my apartment. Also, fully furnished means bed, dresser, desk. No appliances, nothing. There was a bug infestation that NO ONE TOLD US ABOUT at move in, too, and it was disgusting. Don't move here.

I lived here for almost a year. I was moved into an unlivable apartment with rotting food and trash bags from weeks of neglect, fruit flies and bugs flying all over the place. I was stuck in this room for a month and had to cook food in my room. Then I was moved into another room for multiple months, they promised it would be refurbished upon arrival but the walls had dirt all over, the oven was repulsive, the fridge was moldy, there were cockroaches crawling all over my silverware and getting into my food, there was a disgusting old couch in there that I slept on one night... I got bedbugs from it for a couple weeks and management didn't do anything about it. Unclean, cockroach infested, bedbug filled, horrible management, the property manager doesn't want to work with you. they treat the place with cockroach spray you find at walgreens. The exterminators don't do anything really. They just want to charge a lot of money and milk every cent they legally can out of you. Also Parking is $130 a month... Outrageous. Go ahead and move in! If your okay with cockroaches, bedbugs, moldy appliances, and want to sign a lease that forces you to stay in a dump and the possiblity of you getting in a suite with creeps or drug addicts. So far everything is good during move-in feedback is to be more organized. Such as ensuring people with spaces has keys that work for the garage if it was purchased. Also a second elevator is needed there is only 1 elevator to one side of the building; which is an inconvenience for those on the other side of the building.

Decent value. Queen/Full size beds and desks to study. They definitely have a HUGE problem with roaches, and the exterminators don't really do much...

Decent value. Queen/Full size beds and desks to study. They definitely have a HUGE problem with roaches, and the exterminators don't really do much about them. Also, there's minimal cleaning here, and it's only the hallways. Roommates are hit or miss, walls are thin and tenants areas are dirty, so it's luck of the draw on this one! It's ~$650/month so it's the cheapest accommodation you'll find around downtown during the summer, but at a definite cost.
