Been here over a year and love it here. The staff are great. Repairs are taken care of in a timely manner and I've never had to wait more than 2 days for them to come out and that was when they only had 1 repair man while working on hiring a 2nd. there are some dog owners that don't pick up but if you tell the office they get right on them to pick up after their dogs. We never hear any neighbors through the walls. We can here loud footsteps in the hallway and slamming of doors but that is all and it rarely happens.

We just moved out of our great apartment located at Hidden Oak Apartment Complex, and I wanted to say that this has been the best apartment experience we have ever had. First of all it was the friendly and courteous treatment we received during the initial showing that really sold us on getting the apartment and they lived up to that standard the entire time we resided there. My boyfriend and I rented a two bed on the 3rd floor. The apartment was great and move in ready to start. Lots of space very clean and everything worked efficiently upon move in. Our experience with property manager Kathy and Assistant property manager Stephanie was always great. Always kind and courteous, ready to help at a moments notice. I couldn't have asked for more during our 3yr stay at Hidden Oak Apartments. I would recommend to anyone!

I DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE HARSH COMMENTS LEFT HERE ABOUT HIDDEN OAK APT. I HAVE BEEN HERE GOING ON TWO YEARS 2015 AND I HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM!! I LOVE MY SPACIOUS APT. I HAVE EVERYTHING I WAS LOOKING FOR IN APT.FROM MY TWO ENTRANCE WAY BALCONY ACCESS -MY IN-UNIT WASHER AND DRYER -FROM MY HEATED GARAGE TO MY TWO-BEDROOM AND TWO BATH.MY SQUARE FOOTAGE IS PERFECT FOR ME.THE NOISE...WHAAAAAAAAAAAT NOISE!!! MY NEIGHBORS EVEN THOUGH I HAVE NOT MET THEM ARE QUIET.PETS AND THEIR OWNERS,WELL THE STAFF HAVE DONE WHAT THEY WERE SUPPOSE TO DO WHICH IS SEND OUT LETTERS WHICH SEEMS TO BE WORKING,I SEE NOTHING BUT LEASHED DOGS AND A POOP BAG IN THE OWNERS HANDS. I AM PAYING FOR WHAT I WANT.THIS IS FAAAAAAR FROM BEING A GHETTO AREA WITH GHETTO RESIDENTS.IT IS EXTREMELY QUIET WHICH IS ANOTHER PLUS IN MY BOOK. Staff can be responsive, but don't follow through with true problems. Memorial day weekend is when pool opens. They wait until memorial day weekend to fill and run filters, etc. Filter problems and no pool for the nicest weekend ever. When you only have your kids every other weekend, and only a few holiday's, that stinks. Also routine shoveling and mowing lawn is always way late.

Stay away from Hidden Oak Apartments. I've only lived here a few months & this place has gone down hill. The office staff is made up of the most useless & worthless people I've ever had to deal with in a long time. If you bring something to their attention, they act like you're the only person with the problem. I've talked with enough people in my building to know other residents have made the same complaints as me. If you didn't witness who did whatever, they don't bother to look into the problem. How Kathy has manged to keep her job is beyond me. She is not an effective or efficient property manager. Kathy & Stephanie have major attitude problems & should consider jobs that don't involve interacting with people. These are supposed to be more "upscale" apartments. I'm sure they were at some point. Now, they're just renting to low class people. Just because a bunch of people can pull their money together & meet the income requirements, doesn't mean they should be able to live here. There is a least one unit in my building where the occupancy limit is being exceeded. The last few people who moved into my building seriously looked like they had been living out of their cars. Don't take your children to the pool. It's filled with trashy people getting drunk. There are several sex offenders living in the in the surrounding area. The hallway floors are stained & disgusting. People let their pets pee where ever & drag leaking garbage down the hallway. The caretaker in my building has requested the carpets to be cleaned & the office expects her to clean it herself. The walls in the common areas need to be cleaned & painted. There are people who own dogs that are on the banned breed list. Hardly anyone cleans up their dog's poop outside. The water bill is a joke. No one in the office can explain how the bill is calculated. They outsourced the billing to a 3rd party in Indiana & they tack on a $3 service fee each month. No explanation can be given for this fee. I'm still researching whether the service fee is legal. The monthly electric bill is outrageous. I'm very energy conscious & don't understand how my monthly bill is over $200 a month. Cold winters is a B.S. excuse. My thermostat was set between 60-64 degrees all winter. It didn't kick on that much. I suspect the dryer is the problem. The air conditioner is a joke. There are 2 vents in the living room by the window & sliding glass door that can't cool off the entire living room & kitchen. The air filters don't work. Every month I go to replace it, but don't because it still looks brand new. Surprise, the office make excuses & blames me for not installing it properly. The appliances aren't energy efficient. Because residents pay their own utilities, the office doesn't care.

This place is not what we thought it would be before moving in. Our apartment is spacious, all appliances work, nice underground garage, plenty of parking for tenants and residents, no problems with getting maintenance staff to come out for the minor fixes we required. Those are the good things. Because of paper thin walls, we hear all of our neighbors' arguments- and they don't really have to be loud at all. The apartment itself has such acoustics that we have to lower the tone on TV to almost zero if anyone plans to sleep. Dogs... That is an absolute disaster! Even though management puts up signs about how to handle dogs in common areas and charges monthly rent fee per dog, after this winter, there are dog feces EVERYWHERE. Right in front of the main entrance in the building, in the garage, next to the side doors... It is disgusting. For the amount of money we pay to live in a seemingly nice apartment complex, this is not acceptable. Last important consideration is the true cost of living at Hidden Oaks. On top of relatively expensive rent, our utilities total up to approximately $300 a month (gas, electric, water, sewer). There is only one internet provider available- Time Warner. They currently charge $70 for the basic cable internet... All in all- we will not be renewing our lease after a year and are eager to move out.

Amazing staff, both management and maintenance. Quiet neighborhood, very family friendly. Maintenance calls are resolved faster than I could hope for. All around just a really great place for myself and my daughter. Literally no complaints whatsoever.
