I lived at Colony West from 2017-2019, and I loved it! It truly felt like home to me. The only reason why I left is because I had to move out of town. To start, the Moon Township area itself is nice. Colony West is within walking distance of shopping and dining, however it is still quiet as it is nestled back against a wooded area. I felt very safe running and walking around the nearby neighborhoods. The apartments themselves are a bit dated, however they are very well-maintained and for the price of rent, well worth it. My one bedroom unit was very spacious and highlights included a good-sized balcony and renovated bathroom. Each apartment had a storage unit in the basement which was nice to have. I dont recall paying any amenity fees (there may be one now) but I used the pool and fitness center a lot. The only additional fee I really had to pay was for my cat rent. Lastly, the property manager Michele and her team were awesome. She was a pleasure to work with and always went out of her way to help her tenants. The maintenance staff is extremely prompt - some days I would call or send an email and theyd be at my door 5 minutes later. I highly recommend living at Colony West!

I honestly love this place. Its a great price for what you get! I rely on reviews heavily so I want to leave an honest one! Michele (landlord) is the sweetest and knows her residents by name and is always here to help. She truly cares about the property and her residents and does everything in her power to make it a great place. She even says hi to us every time she sees us outside. We will miss her greatly!! We have lived here in a 2 bedroom for 2 years now, and the only reason we are leaving is because were moving states. Otherwise we would stay! The application/move in process was so smooth and easy, and Michele was able to let us see our apartment before signing the lease as well since it was available to view. We have only had to call maintenance twice the entire time weve lived here, and both times they were here within the hour! They are really on top of things and know what theyre doing. We noticed that the seal on our old fridge was a little bit messed up, and they replaced our fridge the same day! We even talked to Michele about the lighting in our apartment, and she had all of the overhead lights replaced with brighter ones that made a world of a difference, and she had our oven replaced as well to a more updated one! The location of the apartment is great and there is even a walking trail to Walmart. There is also a Dunkin, Starbucks, McDonalds, KFC, etc across the street- and a tropical smoothie, Panera, primantis, eat n park, and a milkshake factory about 2 minutes away. Not to mention the Aldi that was just built across the street! Also a giant eagle within bike riding distance :) It is a very safe and tight knit community, and I have never felt unsafe here even once which is something that is super important to me! Sometimes if you come home a bit late at night, the parking is limited, but youll only have to walk a few extra steps further to get to your buildings door. There are cameras on the buildings, and you also get a downstairs storage unit with your apartment which DEFINITELY comes in handy with storing Christmas decorations, our bikes, etc. There is also a community board in the buildings right above the mailboxes which keeps us up to date on everything going on! The buildings are cleaned every week by a really sweet woman who vacuums and sanitizes, so the hallways are always spotless. We also have a nice pool and gym on the property! Not to mention everything but electric, cable, and internet is included in the price. Overall we have loved every minute of our time here at Colony West and we wouldnt choose any other property over this one. It truly is a place to call home and we will miss it dearly. Im having a hard time being excited for our move to NC just because I will miss this place so much! We just hope that someone loves our apartment just as much as we loved it and called it home :) Thank you Michele and maintenance, we will miss you!!

I have a few things that I would like to share :-) First, Michele B. ARM, of this complex, she is very professional, kind, and direct. She truly helped me through a very hard time in my life and I am grateful for her. She works extremely hard to make sure all tenants are pleased and satisfied during there stay. Also, the safety this community brings is incredible. Great neighbors and we all look out for each other. This location is so very convenient with Walmart a 2 minute walk next door and gas stations as well as many restaurants all in walking distance. Plus, the airport is about 4 minute drive from Colony West Apartments :-) With all of this, the Apts are clean and spacious, beautifully set-up with amazing central air. Pet friendly too ;-) I would like to also give credit to the 2 maintenance guys, they are also on top of things just like Michele. Call Michele when you are ready for a new journey, like I was. She will be happy to help or direct you!!!! Thank you so much to the 3 of you!!!

I have been a resident at Colony since 1991. I think it's the best place in Moon Township to live. I've been here so long I'm not sure I can go anywhere else. The location is perfect, at least for me. Michele manages the rental office. She's always friendly and responsive no matter how busy she is. The guys in maintenance are the best. They always acknowledge your request. They'll even stop by to check out what you need before they actually fix the problem to make sure they don't have to order something. The complex is clean and maintained inside and out. I don't have any complaints about noise since I live on the lower level.

This has by far been the best apartment experience I have had. Maintenance was always quick within 24 hours. Michele and the rest of the staff were readily available to answer any questions and were extremely friendly. There was ample parking, also. All my neighbors were pleasant thanks to the thorough screening process. There are security cameras and on site laundry which was awesome! My apartment was conveniently located near 376, 79, and 65 and I highly recommend Colony West Apartments for any single professionals, couples, and college students. You will not be disappointed!
