the worst place ever in the world i have never treated badly like i treated here in that UPA they also never return the deposit and they try to claim any thing just not to return the deposit and you have to pay for water which divided on all member of upa which have a washing machine and as you don't have one so you pay water which you are not using , the laundry room has a very old washing machines which spoil and ruin your clothes and keep it dirty as it is. i didn't recommend it at all it is just suitable for idiots

this place is awful, really it is near to the university but the stuff there treat you so badly even while you are just paying the rent and don't ask them anything else, the maintenance is so bad and the air condition in very bad state it is not weird as the complex is built i think form 30 year and they don't want to do any thing to save the customers, actually it is also so expensive comparing any other place and you have to pay for the water, sewage, electricity, insurance, net cable, TV cable, .......although any other place will not ask you for the internet or at least the water and sewage will be included in the lease. i don't recommend that place for anyone and ask well before you go on step like this

We lived with UPA for 7-8 years and they refused to return our security deposit. They found very false reasons to not refund our security deposit. Their stuff is so-so rude .Tiffany, she behave like that she is owner of property.

I am shocked by all of the negative reviews! My daughter stayed at University Park Apartments and she and I could not be more grateful to Courtney and Tiffany for all of their help, understanding, and professionalism. I felt that my daughter was in a safe, cared for environment and the very few issues at the apartment were immediately addressed and remedied. Could not say enough good things about Courtney and Tiffany.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Where do I even begin? The hot water heater, heating and air conditioning are all horribly inefficient. I'm very good about turning off lights when I'm not using them and in the winter I set the thermostat on 65 degrees to save on electricity. I use my television for about an hour every week. Even after doing that every electric bill I had was around $100. That's $60 higher than the highest bill I had at a previous apartment complex. Ridiculous. Upon moving out I found mouse droppings in the closet. Enough said. The company they contract out with to run the laundry room is an absolute nightmare to deal with. The machines ate my quarters several times and guess how much of that they returned to me(I left a note for the company at the front desk every time)? Nothing. Then, after all that they had the gall to not return all of my deposit for "cleaning" despite the fact that I left the place far cleaner than I found it. The only good thing I have to say about the place is that when the water heater started spewing water they fixed it the next day. AVOID

We lived with UPA for six years and they refused to return our security deposit. They found very contrived reasons to not refund our security deposit. Despite cleaning entire apartment before move out, we were cited with "dirty counters" and "dirty floors" by Courtney. Very conveniently, all these frivolous charges added up to the exact amount of our security deposit.

I'm fairly certain the place was infested with some sort of bed bugs or mites. Shortly after moving in I began breaking out in horrible itchy rashes caused by bug bites and had to go see a doctor. I have been living here for 4+ years. However, the new assistant named Courtney Lawrence is super rude. I can't understand how UPA can hire her. The previous assistant, Sam is far better. You will be easily got mad by Courtney. I definitely do not recommend living here. I will move out as soon as my lease ended unless Courtney Lawrence got fired. My friend also said they will move out as soon as their lease ended.

They are getting more and more worse, all rules are non-sense, you have to flip your bed to avoid the 25 fine before they come to do bedbug check even you are at home lying on the bed. If you consider living here, remember always flipping your bed! Oh right, when the maintain people came they stepped in your room directly instead of knocking the door !!

We stayed here for more than five years. Our family was asked to move in one weeks because the downstairs neighbors complaint we're using washing machine every day. Who needs to wash clothes everyday? We take shower everyday. I strongly thought the noise they complain is the show time. Furthermore so many residents are using washing machine in UPA. Why only our family who are supposed to use washing machine was asked to move? The truth is we have a 3 months baby that might cry durig midnight. Nothing changed except that we just have a baby recently. Our "nicely" downstairs neighbors, who are U.S. citizens, have to pick up a "reason" to let us go. Incredibly, the manager in UPA believe them and let us go. Speechlessly, I have a feeling that I got racial discrimination. But I won't sue UPA because I am a foreigner that I realy didn't familar with U.S. laws and I really didn't have so much time to file the lawsuit. What I can only do is to take my baby to move. Luckily, we find a place that we can be equally treated!!! BTW, OPC comes to UPA frequently. You really have to be very careful that the bedbug will transmit to your home! Love your life and family, stay away from UPA, expecially you're a foreigner!!!
