I have lived here for 1.5 years. I moved in just as the new management took over. The rent price is very competitive. I have a single bedroom with an outdoor patio. Very nice thing to have in the city. My only complaints have been with neighbors that leave security doors propped open (homeless person sleeping outside my door), and others leaving trash in the halls (lots of flies). Those issues resolved quickly and no issues since. if I did not like the place and all it's recent upgrades, if I did not feel secure living here, I would have moved by now. Management is excellent, maintenance is timely and done well. Best location to enjoy the city.

I never had so bad experience with over deceptive management from strange and unprofessional local employee, Whitney and regional sweet talking but worthless manager Mrs. Martin. 4 week ago it was shown to me apartment and indoor garage what most instrumental to choose this location. Week ago I talk local management, set appointment to sing lease, but Whiney was on phone. After 20 minutes I left. Monday we set another appointment, lease was singed and after she told me that my parking is outside somewhere else. I have to break lease and insist to return every my spending including application fee.

I have lived at The Crescent Centre for 23 years and my experience here has been fantastic. This past year I have noticed major improvements in the community. I currently do not have a TV and enjoy going to the social center to watch my programs which is open 24 hours for my convenience. I also enjoy the monthly social events especially the last one which was a super bowl party. I especially enjoy the office staff which I see on a daily basis when being able to walk to McDonalds and other restaurants in the area. I do not have a car so The Crescent Centre allows me to walk to the neighboring stores as well as the Theatre district which is a block away. If you are looking for something convenient this is the place to be.

I recently moved out of Crescent Centre after living there for 15 years. The new staff and all the upgrades are awesome! The amenities are open around the clock which is great because I work odd hours. Enclosed garage parking is priced better than any other lots downtown. I read reviews online of issues with bugs, but in the 15 years I was there I only saw an ant. Pest control comes whenever you need it anyway. Moving in and out was a breeze even though I lived in the high rise. The only reason I left is because I bought a home. Otherwise, I would stayed and transferred to one of their newly renovated units. Probably the best feature is the location. Right by 4th Street Live and the Theatre District. If you're looking for an apartment downtown, Crescent Centre is the spot!

I applied for this apartment complex and I am now very happy I did not get it. However, the way they told me I did not get was not very nice. I moved to the area from out of state. Louisville is not an easy place to find a rental. I flew down here with my fianc to find a place to stay, for four days we searched, nothing was up to par. Crescent Centre was the only one that was semi-decent from the looks of it. Prices were pretty low for a downtown area. The leasing agent Tim was very good. Here is the bad part: After leaving to go back home we applied for the apartment. We got an acceptance email and so we stopped looking and started planning our move. 1 week from the move in date the Assistant Manager emailed me and said that unfortunately I had not been accepted as a resident there. This was one week...and my first day at my new job was the tuesday after the move in date. So I had to fly back out there and look for another place the tuesday before the weekend that I needed to be there. Not only that but they did not even refund me the whole application fee. Luckily, we were able to find a place just in the nick of time and it is house that is actually cheaper than Crescent Centre and has more square footage, it's closer to work, a really great neighborhood. And from some of the other reviews I have seen about that place I am glad I did not move in. SO IF YOU ARE THINKING OF MOVING THERE, DO NOT.

I just moved out of my apartment and it was an awful place to live. I only liked the location of where it was at downtown. Other than that, it was not a great place to live. The lady in the leasing office was rude to me from the time I moved in until the time I moved out. The doors fall off their hinges every time you open the sliding doors. It was not what I expected it to be, especially for what I was paying a month. Now that I am all moved out, they're trying to make me pay for something that I already did when I moved out. I try to get ahold of them to clarify and I did not receive a call back. She said my place was an absolute mess when it actually wasn't. For anyone trying to move into an apartment, just be ready for bad customer service.

I've lived here nearly two years and have found the office staff to be pleasant and helpful. I DO wish that repairs were made more quickly when needed. And, I wish other tennants wouldn't be such slobs throwing trash around and over-flowing the lobby trash can.

The place itself is okay, but the staff are not helpful at all. They charge you $50 if you get locked out of your apartment and they don't even do anything themselves...it's the security guard who lets you in and I know they don't get to pocket the extra money. When you move out, they will say that your apartment is dirty even when it's clean and charge you extra money to "clean" it when they are supposed to have somebody clean the apartment anyways in between when people move in or out of the apartment. That's completely unacceptable especially when I know that place was spotless when I left it. They don't hire security guard staff to be there 24/7 and when they are there, there is only ever 1 security guard who normally sits in the office the majority of the time. I had a bike stolen INSIDE their locked garage because they were negligent and decided to not put up a proper security fence in the back of the garage that separates the garage from the outside parking lot. They only fixed the fence after I contacted the owners of the place, and even then, it took them 2 months. I never felt like I got good customer service during the years that I spent there.

I had a horrible experience dealing with the lady at Cresent centre. I was looking for a 1 Br apartmrnt. SHe told me that there were few choices available one on 9th floor and 11 floor. I wanted the one on 11th floor, When I arrived for a show, I was told that the apartment was not ready and I was showed a 2 Br. I made it clear that i wanted to see the apartment before i would apply and i was asked to come back in 2 days. When i returned i was informed that there is no apartment on 11th floor available, when i had already made my choice clear the day i first visited their office. I was shown an apartment on 9th floor and as i had no other option i wanted to go ahead. So when i asked about the whole deal, I came to know that I had to pay Heat, Water, Sewer and Garbage none included in rent. As I had no other option I went ahead with the application. The very next day I called up to cancel the application as I found a better option elsewhere and asked for a refund of moving and security deposit. The office staff was rude and replied that there is a clause in the application that if canceled no money would be returned. I also offerred them to deduct the rent for the days the apartment was of market. It was a very bad experience, I would never recommend people to take up apartments there, If you get such treatment at the begining then God knows how your stay will be.
