My husband, a medical student, and I have lived here for 4 years and have absolutely loved it. There are a wide variety of people here, including (but not limited to) med students, dental students, seminary students, and professional single adults. We are very bummed to move for his residency. The best part of our apartment is the picturesque covered deck. It is bigger than our living room, two enormous trees in front of it provide privacy - we spend half of nearly every day there, all seasons. The other best part of this complex is the central location, everything we go to (and I mean EVERYTHING) feels like its 10min away. Additionally, when there is flooding or snow preventing accessibility to the main entrance, the back is connected through the VA hospital which is always clear and easy to navigate (exits out onto Zorn Ave). We live on a 3rd floor and have no complaints regarding sound from our neighbors, but we have heard from others that the sound barrier bt the 2nd and 3rd floor is less than ideal. It's not dog friendly (friends that are dog owners live in the apt complex across the way, Riverhill) but it is very very safe. Well lit, covered parking, almost a gated community feel.
