The Good : The inside of the apartments are beautiful. The location is excellent. The maintenance staff were amazing. We really loved our apartment.
The Bad :
The office staff are terrible. They were constantly changing, seemed like no one worked there for more a year.
They would fix things in the worst way at the worst times. They give you hardly any notice, and force you to remove everything off of your patio or sometimes like that.
Any complaint fell on deaf ears. We never got the sense they cared at all.
They raise the rent. ALOT. Trust me. Fight every rent raise or you'll end up paying 1000$ more a month that someone that is just moving in, because they don't care. Leave, someone will take your place no problem.
As beautiful as the apartment is, I'd stay away, because you'll be paying out the nose.

Worst experience dealing with an apartment complex in my life. Very shady management team that isnt straight forward with you. They will over charge you for everything from water leaks as a result of poor maintenance by the company to unrevealed charges at your move out date. Mailboxes have been broken into more times than we can count and packages have been busted open and left empty in the lobby. The security is terrible and the doors dont always lock. The garage gate is left open often now because of a key fob transition project that took 3+ months to orchestrate and they are worse than the old fobs and dont always work. Management is NEVER on site and dont bother trying to reach out to because they dont communicate with each other or you and youll never get the same person twice.

Nice apartment, fantastic location!!! Everything you need is within walking distance or you can drive. So much amazing food variety too and a delicious taco truck the corner several nights a week. Neighbors in the building are friendly and keep to themselves but will chat you up on the elevator and in the laundry room which is nice. Haven't experienced any loud animal issues. Staff is responsive, I have always gotten a same-day response and follow up. Love Alyssa, she leased me my apartment and was super friendly and is a great asset to this property. Equally, Shaunessey, the manager, is on top of things and always responsive to any concerns and both are very welcoming!! Service team was quick to respond when I had no hot water on Easter, and again this week when I reported a leaky pipe in the parking garage. I love having a gated and secure parking garage to park my car and the tandem space for my 2 bedroom is great so I can have a spot for my family or friends when they visit. Also, this place offers free pest control if you ever have any issues, but I've never had to use it. :)
Besides the friendly and responsive staff, highlights for me are the controlled access to the building, the HUGE balconies, the elevator, they have a lot of washers and dryers in the laundry room and I love that I can use my debit card so I'm not having to carry change, and the gated parking garage. Oh and the ROOF TOP!! It's easy to forget about but trust me, the view is stunning and the furniture is comfy and well kept. Awesome amenity, can't wait to sun bathe out there this summer.
Overall a really great place to live with amazing staff! Highly recommend!

I lived at Westside Barrington for almost two years and I was so in love with my apartment. I had a top floor corner with fabulous views and tons of sunlight. I enjoyed hanging out in the rooftop with friends during the summer months and my favorite part is the area, I could walk everywhere and try so many different restaurants almost every week. Some of the best happy hours and the cutest farmers market as well. So sad I had to move but wanted to give a shout out and recommend it. If you can score a top floor even better those vaulted ceiling are to die for.

I have had more bad experiences with this apartment than I can count. I lived here for a year, and don't get me wrong, the apartment itself is relatively nice. However, the management team is very sub-par to put it nicely. Please refer to my Yelp review for more detail. I would never recommend that anyone live here!
