Kaumualii Park Condominium is a gated apartment building and courtyard providing a beautiful tropical oasis in urban Honolulu. The location provides refreshing views of the Koʻolau mountain peaks, coconut trees, greenery, a turquoise swimming pool, colorful sunrise and sunset clouds. Residents can enjoy Hawaiʻi's climate at the outdoor pool, the grassy courtyard, or the spacious community park and gymnasium across the street.
The semi-open floor plan creates a spacious feel for this 420-square foot apartment. The bedroom has a spacious closet, and additional storage is available in the hall closet. A half-wall with sliding panels divide the living room and bedroom, which opens up or closes the view between the rooms, as well as increases airflow and cooling. The apartment has a nice breeze and good airflow when there are trade winds. The apartment windows are made of wooden jalousies that allow the breeze to consistently flow through the apartment when opened, and can block out light during the evening or day.
Building amenities include an outdoor pool, grass courtyard, and community room. A shared laundry room is located on the 1st floor across from the mailboxes. The building manager lives on site and oversees the property's cleanliness and landscape maintenance. The building is a concrete, three-story walk-up, constructed in 1971, and provides 3 gated entrances on the south, west and north sides of the building. There is no elevator.

The neighborhood is 3.5 miles from Ala Moana Beach Park.
On the west side of the building is Kalākaua District Park. It features beautiful monkeypod trees, a spacious field for walking or running, tennis courts, volleyball courts, basketball courts, and an indoor gymnasium. The open market is located at the park on Saturday mornings, and offers some of the most cost-effective prices for fresh local vegetables, fruits, and baked goods.
