Management is extremely helpful and professional. Maintenance is quick, friendly, and knowledgeable. Anything Ive needed theyve taken care of and I am happy to live here. There are tons of grocery stores and restaurants near by also. They offer 2 pools, a business center and a fully equipped gym. I highly recommend Autumn Chase!

Very dull and confused office staff. I guess thats what you get when you have a large rental company that hires employees that dont care. This place is very gross and is falling apart. Dog poop and cigarettes everywhere. These apartments are badly designed in every way imagine-able. The maintenance crew are cool though, thats about it. The office staff doesnt address tenant issues such as someone parking in my car port and then taking over a month to look at a broken oven. The cheap light fixtures keep falling from my ceiling. They also call me about trash in other peoples car ports because they dont understand how to do their job properly. Oh and when my neighbor parks over the line in his car port I get a phone call stating that Im parking over the line because he cant get into his car, even though Im parked perfectly in mine. Ive also had my truck keyed, vandalized and broken into. Homeless people like to wash their clothes in the pool too... They are definitely waiting for a lawsuit to happen. Not handicapped friendly, dangerous trees, rabid squirrels, no snow shoveling, forgetting to shut sprinklers off for the winter, lol yeah they were creating ice rinks on the sidewalk and watered the snow for days or weeks. *TDLR really bad office staff, bad apartments/grounds, good location but shady people/homelesso

If I could put zero stars, I would. HORRIBLE experience and place to live. Review will be somewhat lengthy, so to save readers the time if you're not interested in the details, AVOID AT ALL COSTS. 1. Leasing office lost my lease for 2 months, yes, a document containing a lot of personal detail suddenly disappeared. Social security number, salary, license plate number, etc. suddenly vanished. They had no justification and even questioned me if I had lost my own papers that had already been submitted to them... 2. My salary drove my rent, I know this because they didn't give me a firm price when I visited the complex, and multiple residents within the complex were paying much less than I was for the same layout. 3. A/C broke in the middle of June. It took them two weeks to get a portable unit out to me, and another two weeks to fix the A/C. Even after all that, the heat didn't work. 4. This is the big one. They will do everything in their power to tag you with costs when you go to move out. For reference, I moved within the complex from a two bedroom to a one bedroom (just me and my dog) and wasn't charged for urine stains or carpet damage. With the same dog (who is four and hasn't urinated in the house in over 3.5 years), all of a sudden, they charged me $700 for urine damage to the carpet. This is the same dog, no issue with the two bedroom, but when I go to move out of the complex entirely, their excuse was that the dog must have all of a sudden started doing it, yeah...ok. When I pressed them on it, I was provided no justification, just that they weren't going to drop the charges. 5. What you see is not what you get. Don't be fooled by the images online or the model unit. EVERYTHING IS CARPET, besides the cheap linoleum in the kitchen and bathroom. 6. At one point, they entered my apartment without my permission. I had scheduled a time for a Saturday when I'd be home and off work to have them come in and replace the batteries in the smoke detector, when I called to confirm, they said they just went ahead and took care of it. Yep, they entered without telling me... 7. They're beginning to implode and are starting to get desperate. The rent for the elderly lady who lived across from me has been at Autumn Chase since pretty much when they first opened, by herself, and her rent recently increased by nearly 30 percent, out of nowhere. A nice, elderly lady who has been loyal to the complex for God knows why, is all of a sudden receiving a notice for higher rent. 8. Just not safe. The police are constantly driving through the complex, and even arrested a man in the morning when I was walking to my car to get to work. No matter what they say, it is Section 8 housing. I'm sure there are more, but I believe this is enough to steer any potential residents clear of a potentially awful choice. Unless you are truly desperate, and this is the only place you can afford, avoid Autumn Chase at all costs, it was a truly miserable experience.

Have fun listening to kids screaming at the pool all day every day. After the kids finally go to bed, you have young adults in the hot tub as late as they can get away with, meaning the security guard always has to kick them out so have fun listening to drunk idiots with their voices bouncing off the surrounding buildings. This is the loudest place ive ever lived. Tons of people with kids live here and the kids run and play every where so i hope you dont plan on trying to concentrate on anything or plan on enjoying a movie or something with little kids running and shouting outside your windows. Also, enjoy them jacking up your rent every year.

These apartments are big enough, but its clear that management only puts on a good facade. We moved into a newly remodeled unit; remodeled meaning "fresh paint and cabinet doors". Our furnace kept dying during the start of winter, and it took the coldest night of the year during a weekend emergency call to finally get us a replacement (that didnt arrive until a week later). While looking at our furnace the maintenance staff told us that our water heater was really old (20 plus years) and should be replaced too. The best part about them mentioning the water heater is that they said they were surprised it was in there because they thought they completely removed older models like ours. Maintenance staff then told us how their corporate office regularly tries to save money by making older appliances last longer while putting on fresh coats of paint and cabinets to make everything look really high-end. If you move here (which I would not recommend), make sure the appliances all work and are up-to-date. The front office staff are not professional either. I had to speak with their staff multiple times to figure out how much we actually owed for rent because their accountant never seemed to have the same numbers twice. Their accountant also once asked us to just deposit our rent checks with in the drop-box with no envelopes because "its difficult to open all of those envelopes." Also they make you use an online portal for lease agreements but they are always behind on their end of the paperwork. At the end of our time here our long term lease rate changed to a month-to-month rate, but they didn't bother to update our account to reflect the correct rent rate. So we got a bill that was incorrect and they would have let us underpay and then charged for late back-pay if I hadn't noticed the wrong amount and asked what happened (I actually asked them if they would do that, and they said yes). However, the best story I can tell you is that when we moved out, a staff member who was disgruntled told us that multiple units needed new air conditioners, but the corporate office didnt want to spend the money. Folks were waiting more than 10 days for new units in the middle of June. Avoid this place.

Cigarettes and dog poop are out of control. The cigarettes being thrown on the ground make me especially nervous. Unresponsive work order to fix my oven. It wasn't until I had to make a second work order when a light fixture fell on me and suddenly they responded, however the maintenance guy didn't even know about my oven and left. Some guy came back a couple weeks later after making another work order for the same thing. I went over a month without it before they even tried fixing it for the first time and what I was told was it was simple and he fixed it quick too. Autumn Chase talks a Big Talk...and doesn't walk the walk. My wife and I have lived at Autumn Chase for several years and are extatic that we are moving out. First the positive: On site maintenance staff if some of the friendliest people you will ever meet. They are an asset to this company. The location is great, easy highway access and stuff like grocery stores and gas stations are close. That's really about it. The Cons: Rediculous email blasts weekly scolding residents and constant threats of fines and lease terminations that go out to very resident whether it applies to you or not. So many constant threats I've moved them to my junk folder because I don't need to feel like I'm in trouble once a week for stuff that has nothing to do with me. No attention to detail. They re-painted the whole community and the quality of work done was terrible and took over a year. Tons of over spray, drips/globe/smears that bleed out into the brick work. My front door was spray painted....spray painted. And not eeven spray painted well, it's supper drippy, and they masked it off wrong so the old paint shows around all the fixtures. They had a company come in DECEMBER to rip out and repour concrete for the sidewalks. Because we all know how great DECEMBER (frozen, snowy and 30*) is for pouring and curing concrete, brilliant. They marked the areas for where to replace the sidewalk with spray paint...on the areas the were leaving alone. So now we have new sidewalks with spray painted numbers and arrows bookending the new concrete. Yet we got an email saying kids in the community can't use sidewalk chalk because they community cares about this appearance, but spray painted sidewalks are fine apparently. They didn't even fix the curb by the back gate that someone etched "f*** this place" into. I mean you had concrete guys here on site, and you didn't have them fix that??? Inside the apartments you will find a refrigerator that's cream colored with wood accents circa 1990, bubbled up lamented counter tops, and a lovey cream colored oven from 1990. What a nice surprise from the model that we were shown. They call this place a gated community...that is an outright lie. There is nothing gated about Autumn Chase. They do HAVE gates at the fron and rear entrances but it doesn't mean much if they haven't closed in the three years we've lived here. Anyone can drive in here at anytime with absolutely zero security stopping them. FYI YOU WILL BE CHARGED IF YOU LOOSE YOUR GATE CARD...but who cares because you will never need it anyway as I stated the gates have never shut. Rent increases vastly year to year so be prepared to shell out much more than you will your first year. They lump utilities of the community together and split it up among residents. So if you and your family use a little bit of energy heat or water, you'll end up paying the same as others who use more. Community Bonding? Badly painted walls, baseboards, badly sealed showers and tubs, old outdated bathroom lights and counter tops, old outdated ceiling lights, air conditioners go out CONSTANTLY they freeze up and just stop working all together, bad trash schedules result in dumpster always over flowed and trash and furniture all around dumpster areas. I'm running out of room to write more in this review so feel free to contact me if you are thinking of moving here and I'd be happy to tell you even more. All in all, this place isn't worth it. It's all smoke and mirrors, the value just isn't here for the money.

Apartment was nice, maintenance was very kind. Lived with my now ex and she had kicked me out and didn't let me get my stuff, cops wouldn't help. Told autumn chase and they said to resolve the matter but couldn't be resolved. So I'm homeless and she took my dog. Still cops could careless. Told autumn chase I'm kicked out so ex needs to pay final rent. Now 3 years later collections is calling and damaging credit. No one gets back to me. So that's why they get one star. Let's resolve this issue

10/2015: have downgraded by one star. I still stand by my original post. However, the office recently has had problems in notifying residents about maintenance work. Notably, the asphalt work. NO pre-notification was given. I first knew of it when I got home one night and the back entrance was blocked off. No big deal. Then two days later I'm at work and get an email saying cars are being towed. A couple of hours later another email, with the map of the complex and which areas will be done when (being done over a five day period). And these two notices referenced that notification had been done via door to door postings. Not true. I spoke with several other residents and they also did not receive a notice on the door. The complex is now being painted. My front door was painted four days ago and thankfully a notice was posted right beside the door to warn me of wet paint. That is good. But that notice is still up. How long does it take for the paint to dry? I'd take it off myself, but the trim is not done and I'm afraid that the sign is the clue to the painters that there is still work to be done. The email yesterday about carport painting - when are they starting painting today? How far do they expect to get? I appreciate that you are putting notices on the carports themselves, but what if I decide to stay in over the weekend and don't get out to the carport to see if a notice has been posted since I parked? Fortunately for me I now have a job outside of the house, but up until a few months ago I worked in my home and I could go for days without leaving. Office: since you are able every month to send out the email about the sewer/water/trash charge to everyone, even those who have paid it, surely you can use that same method to notify us of maintenance work. And please don't assume that everyone leaves their apartment every day. Original post: I have to disagree with the previous poster. I've been here 5 years. It has only flooded once, about 2 weeks ago. At that time, a flash flood alert was active for the entire county. And I'm on first floor in one of the lower areas. Part of one bedroom had about half an inch of water. It is an older facility, so yes, items are going to die and need to be replaced. My central air went out about 4 years ago, in July. It was replaced in 24 hrs. Maintenance has been great. They come by twice a year to replace filters. Office staff could be a bit more personable. People are generally friendly. I feel safe; have never had any awkward moments. The only break-in that I'm aware of was about 3 months ago, when someone forced open one of the mail boxes. Postal service and office immediately notified us. Office is good about publishing coyote notices when needed.

These crooks over charged us for a crappy 1 bedroom apartment for 2 years. We were told new carpet was standard for every new tenant what they don't tell you is if you stay any less then 5 years you will pay a pro rated fee for replacing the carpet for the next person ( loss of carpet life). When I pointed out how skechy that was they decoded not to charge me anymore money beyond the security deposit they already had. 5 years later they have decided to refile a grievence against me and refuse to return my calls. The pool/ hot tub are always under repair and the security gate is a major pain. You will be miserable here. You will never come even close to seeing your security deposit (in the end you will probably have to pay the same amount again just in carpet wear). Seriously, run away... they claim it cost almost $1200 to replace carpet in a small 1 bedroom. The decision to rent my first apartment here makes it in my top 5 biggest mistakes as an adult.

Strongly discourage. I urge anyone to avoid anything associated with Lyon Communities. The only positive thing about this complex was the maintenance crew and some of the staff members. Even though the guys have done great work and been extremely attentive to problems, the issues that Lyon Communities refuse to fix are more than Autumn Chase alone can fix. If you rent here, be prepared to be flooded every time it rains. From a small amount of rain, over 35 units flooded (that have been reported so far) because of cracks near the siding and base of the apartment. This is not from a large amount of rain, it's caused from poor quality of the apartment. As a result, bedrooms are disheveled and belongings are sopping wet. This has happened almost every time it rains or snows. Autumn Chase has been vey attentive to the issues and has done everything in their power to fix it. However, Lyons Communities seems to avoid the root of the problem, yet rent is frequently increased for all. When talking to Lyons, they talk of a lot of plans and promises but don't follow through. The same issues keep occurring year after year without any action from Lyon Communities. I realize Autumn Chase and carpet cleaners can only do so much but the root of the problem needs to be fixed. Save your time and look somewhere else.

I rate this apartment community as excellent. I am so upset that anyone could say that the staff is rude, that is so far from the truth, the staff every one of them are absolutely amazing people and have gone way out of their way to always help me. I could not have handpicked better staff that we have at autumn chase apartments, not even one of the staff members have ever been rude I have ever had a bad attitude, that's simply not true
