Seems like a very quiet place. Visitor parking is an issue however.
We love living at Laguna Vista. Beautiful grounds and spacious apartments. Very quiet community and beautiful grounds. Any concerns or issues weve had were addressed immediately.

I Have lived here for 1 year now with my wife and reading the reviews i can tell many of them are out dated their is no issue with the water it tastes just as good as the bottled water you get at the store and there is no foul smell like some of the reviews suggest. Me and my wife feel very safe here and have no issue taking our dogs out at night any time we need matnence they are very quick and get the job done fast, the staff is great too i cant say any thing negative about the place great place to live

I've been living here for a couple of months now and I like it a lot. It's quiet and everyone stays to themselves. I love the fact that you are able to drive to your floor and there is plenty of garage parking. The leasing staff is very friendly and whenever I need maintenance, they come right away to fix any issues. I only gave four stars because I would like to have a choice cable providers.

Their fire alarm system is totally shot. It goes off falsely all the time, sometimes several times in a row in the middle of the night.
If you have T-Mobile, don't rent here. You won't get signal within the building. We have to rely on Wi-Fi.
A QT is going to be built right across the street, which will be nice and the complex is right next to two major highways. You can even fish in the canal if you have your license.

I looked at a lot of apartments before I found this one. I love the walking trail along the canal and the indoor parking garage. I have only recently moved here and I just wanted to say that I was very impressed with the apartment. It was beautiful and so clean. The people who work here are always friendly and helpful when I need something. You really can't go wrong with this place. I highly recommend it.

I have lived here for three years, and I do agree that in the past before the new management came we had a few problems, but I am really surprised at all the negative reviews below as I have not seen any problems that the new management hasn't taken care of. I see improvements everyday. I am very pleased with the new management and I now that they care about their residents.

-The fire alarm goes off at least a couple times a month, and sometimes in the middle of the night. Most of the time, there is no fire, just the burning hatred in my heart when it wakes me up in the middle of the night.
-We found mold in our vents and had to fight tooth and nail to get them to replace our vents and air ducts.
- Again, when the management changed they stopped sending paper statements. There are usually discrepancies with billings. It is always a hassle to figure out exactly what we owe.
-This place is next to a beautiful canal and when I first moved in all was awesome, then when the management changed in 2013 things went downhill. Everyone in the office seems nice, but it is clear, whoever they report to (The Mysterious Management Company, whose name does not appear on anything) just flat out doesn't care and is happy to take people's money and do the bare minimum.

After moving into my nice apartment, I noticed a weird smell every now and then in the bathroom and kitchen areas. Later I realized the water has a weird smell. Kinda has a faint sewer like smell. Not fresh at all. I definitely do not drink it but sometimes its worries me about the possibility of getting infections as a female, especially after showers...I'm afraid not clean water. The water issue is a BIG DEAL to me. If the water has no smell in this building, carpets in the hallways upgraded, upgrades in interior fixtures, and office staff not being replaced every 3 weeks or new management ever year, I would probably rate this place with 5 stars.
